How many of your congregations have a "help pregnant teenager" fund" Mine doesn't. Churches that don't put their money where their mouth is must tacitly expect the girl to go on welfare for the next 18 years. You are all anti-welfare except when it comes to assisting unmarried pregnant women?
so either the church supports the mother and baby for 18 years or the state does, how about the good old fashion.... GET A JOB AND SUPPORT HERSELF. The bible does say if you don't work you don't eat, encouraging not sitting back and asking others to support you.How many of your congregations have a "help pregnant teenager" fund" Mine doesn't. It still comes down to parental control. I don't think it is up to the government do handle this. Parents should not feel that they are dismissed from supervising their child based what the the government allows or doesn't allow.
Didn't they have a big hit record back around 1968?...Obama and the Liberals...

Seriously though, not every young woman has parents who are supportive. In fact, some are abusive, especially in such a situation. In fact, some girls seek love they are not getting at home in the form of intimate behavior. No matter where one stands on this Plan B pill, the situation can be heartbreaking.
From what I have read, Plan B works like a last minute birth control pill, by preventing pregnancy with hormones, and is not an abortion pill. See below.
Important Safety Information:
Plan B® isn't effective if you're already pregnant, and it won't terminate an existing pregnancy. Plan B® doesn't protect against HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Side effects may include nausea, abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, changes in your period, dizziness, and breast tenderness. If your period is more than a week late, you may be pregnant. If you have severe abdominal pain, you may have an ectopic pregnancy, and should get immediate medical help.
Ummm, that was 2008 M.P.! I am with you on getting more sleep though, ha. BTW, I think you will see them slide down the charts quickly as the Dixie Chicks. Americans don't like musicians who pander to foreigners while demeaning their own nation!Magnetic Poles;1402689]Didn't they have a big hit record back around 1968?
I could not agree more and well stated. It is in part what I was responding to which is to say A) Parents/Citizens are indeed strongly involved with these issues, B) Not all children have supportive families or readily accessible support. Therefore, it is even more outrageous the government attempts to intervene in making abortion quick, easy and non-conscionable.Quote by M.P.; 'Seriously though, not every young woman has parents who are supportive. Well, that in fact is a matter of opinion as some posters have already noted. I must however apologize on that point as I thought they were refering to the actual abortion pill.Quote by M.P.; "From what I have read, Plan B works like a last minute birth control pill, by preventing pregnancy with hormones, and is not an abortion pill.
