I would rather imagine that most of us would agree that eternity in heaven is a bigger gift than being in the land promised to Abraham.

    But still...

Are you trying to say that the promise made to Abraham in the Abrahamic covenant of his seed being in the land was satisfied when Moses was transfigured? Could we conclude that since Moses was not allowed to enter the land but Joshua and Caleb were, that those two were not under the Sinai Covenant same as Moses?

I agree, I said you were an Open Theist...
And Salty, look at post 121 and see how they are simply repeating the same malarkey to lengthen the thread.

This is not true what you think supports your view just does not say what you claim it does. And you have never proven any of your Calvinism.

Endless claims of past glory are the stock and trade of false teachers. Calvinism has been shown to be malarkey...

I am pretty sure all Calvinists lean toward exhaustive determinism, God's knowledge of the future fixes the future and no other outcome is possible. However, that view is malarkey.

What the verse seems to me to be saying is there are no second chances for salvation after we physically die. Judgment is swift and sure, and the lost are condemned already. John 3:18.

OTOH, God is the God of continuing chances as long as we live, therefore repent and believe.

This I believe is because our flesh has not been regenerated, and won't be until after we die.

Which answered the question from the disciples, “who then can be saved?”

Jesus answered with men it is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.

The question was direct. The answer was direct.

It is impossible for men to be saved unless God intervenes in their lives.

Now all you have to consider is whether God intervenes in every person’s life, or just some people’s life, to bring them to salvation.

    peace to you

Well, based on that verse, only those who “labour and are heaven laden” get an invitation of rest, not everyone.

    peace to you

Well maybe you have a verse that says there are those whom Jesus has not drawn to Him self. When His word says He draws all men to Him self. The thing that bothers me is when Calvinist read the Bible they always assume what isn't there.. Can you prove God doesn't draw everyone?. No you can't . Can you prove Jesus doesn't Love the whole world? No you can't. Yet against scripture you still make false claims. and insisting that your claims are more accurate
