    Another Kaintuckian. I am from the very far eastern part of Ky, about 5 mins from WVa. I live in WVa now,about 15 mins from Ky now.

    I actually grew up in WV. But I live on the opposite side of KY from you towards Bowling Green.

    I live close to 2 hrs SW of there. Crum, WVa to be exact.

    I also went to Appalachian Bible College for 2 years in Beckley.

    I like green onions, but don't really go for wild onions, never tried them.

    If you ever get the chance (the season is nearly upon us) to eat fresh ones raw like you would green onions do so, they're better than green onions. They're wild leeks, not onions.
