Yes, I am Church of Christ :Biggrin. Go ahead and pluck your piano, see if I care!
Seriously though, I love studying the different denominations and have so many great friends - brothers and sisters in Christ - who are in the Baptist tribe. In my part of the world, southern Baptist is the norm. Although I know of a few Independent, Missionary, Berea, and Primitive, too.
Like the term "Baptist", the term "Church of Christ" represents a vast spectrum of different church types. Like Baptists, the Church of Christ has strains of churches that are fundamentalist and sectarian to their core. But since we don't have different labels for those strains - they all fall under Church of Christ - there's a lot of generalization that happens.
But I greatly appreciate and value the work of particularly the southern Baptists in my community. These churches are hugely instrumental to God's Kingdom.
