I have been reading these boards a while and have decided to jump in. It's sometimes hard to find uplifting Christian conversation on the 'net, so I am hoping.

Anyway, I am almost 60, been saved since I was 17, and been in a Baptist Church ever since. I was ordained in '85 and have held some interim positions, but not a full time Pastorate. Still stay at it tho. God will use me how He sees fit.

I am married and have three biological children. When those 3 flew the coop, we adopted 3 more (1 sister/ 2 brothers).. Two are now teens and one is eight. They are the apples of my eye lol.

I am also a college prof at a state U...don't hold it against me...we are not all crazy. Just some. I am active in the Baptist Student Union here, so there is that.

Anyway, that is me. Hope all of you have a great day and am looking forward to positive discussion.

    Terry

Yeah, the communication discipline and some others have made strange bedfellows over the years. That is the department I am in.

Uh oh! He teaches speech. He'd have his hands full with us Kentuckians...though I live in West Vrginny now.

At a former hospital, a co-worker called me Willbilly as a nickname.
