Yeah, that's the reason that church's didn't exist in David's time....
It has nothing to do with the fact that Christ still centuries to be born yet!!!
OH, brother...
I am glad she was there.
That Scum will not be taking out anymore Christians...
Too bad he will be eternally tortured... if he would have listened to the Christians he could have lived forever.
We have several law enforcement folks in our church. Most of them are required to have their pieces with them at all times. Good for them. Our church is as safe as one can get...being as we have a green beret, a navy seal, an FBI special ops guy...(insert "Bad to the Bone" sound clip here)...
Take it(your firearm) in, if your conscience allows. It could be your wife or kids' life you save. Or your pastor's! (Course, if you're a Baptist, you'd have to vote before protecting the preacher... )
I find it to be a very sad state of affairs when a society reaches a point where there is some kind of necessity for people to bring weapons into the very house of God.
What a world.
Give up your gun culture, then the US can takes it place with dozens of civilized free nations that realize that widespread access to firearms is not a good idea.
Yet the Bible constantly states that the lives of unbelievers are much more important than anyone serving God in or outside the "Church (remember that Christans can meet to worship at a park on a wensday and be called a Church). It's called persecution. It has to exist and we have to take it. Get over it.
FNC reported the coroner's report on the shooter said he died of a self inflicted gsw.
This young man's father is a respected neurologist in Denver, who has spent his life as a researcher of multiple sclerosis. This young man was homeschooled (from a very religious home) and attended the school a couple of years ago, where he killed the students, but didn't finish the program due to "health" reasons. His brother is a student at ORU.
I feel sad for the victims, and very sad for the shooter's family, especially his parents, who are broken hearted.
Whether the parents are Christians or not, but assuming they are Christians from the background found in various news articles, how especially horrible this must be.
It's sad from all points of view.
:tear:
Please give chapter and verse that states the "lives of unbelievers are much more important than anyone serving God in or outside the church."
Your statement is not found in the Bible, nor is it alluded to anywhere in the Bible. Let alone constantly.
I stand corrected. I had not heard of this, since this afternoon they still said the fatal shots came from the guard. I have been at the hospital with my wife for the last few hours. Guess the coward couldn't stand it anymore, so he went ahead and ended it after getting given a belly full o' lead.
For once I guess FNC will have me eating the baloney!
I just pray the killer knows enough to plany a remotely-controlled bomb at your church instead of resorting to what seems to be the norm for american massacres...
