Where I live there is a great Alliance church a few houses down with a great pastor and solid Bible teaching. I would go there, since there is no other churches around where I live that has the biblical qualities I would look for, spare the one I go to now

Okay, serious? Probably Free (Evangelical Free) or more likely Reformed.

I can't imagine being anything but Baptist, I don't even like it when churches that are Baptist in doctrine don't have Baptist on the sign. But to answer the question probably Congregational, because of my belief in congeragtional government. But that is stretch at best!

I'm a Baptist because of my convictions - not because of the church I attend.

I'd be a Baptist no matter what church I found myself in.

If there wasn't a quality God-honoring Baptist church in my area, I would probably start one in my home.

My parents have had some difficulty in this regard though. The only local Baptist churches to them are hyper-fundamentalist, so they attend the Methodist church. They are still Baptists in theology (about 35% of the attenders there are refugees from the local Baptist church - including the former associate pastor of the Baptist church) and it makes the Methodists more than a little nervous.

Reformed or Presbyterian(PCA). Basically, I would search for a church that is evangelical, faithful to the Bible, and reformed in doctrine.

There is nothing else to be. I'll always be baptist.

Somebody said it somewhere else... BUT...

I was Baptist born, Baptist bred and when I die I'll be Baptist dead.

No other choice for me either, Katie!

I was Baptist even when I wasn't (at least knowingly) Christian, so I'm sure I'd still be Baptist (or as Mark Osgatharp would have it, Aptist!) even if there were no Baptist church around that would have me.

Jesus never pastored a church? He pastors ALL of them. The guys we call pastors are just His assistants!

    If not Baptist, then Anabaptist.

    In Christ,

    Tim
