What Martin wrote does not require "that all sinners must possess a "free will"". The Calvinist sees perfect congruity between God's sovereign decree and man's choices. Besides, no man possesses perfect knowledge. God has ordained vessels of clay to preach the Gospel. It is God who moves sinners to repentance and faith. Ergo, the Calvinist eagerly wants the Gospel to be preached to all because it is the means of salvation for all who have been predestined to eternal life.

 

And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations.

sbw, provides an if/then/if argument, but he doesn't understand or comprehend that Jesus death is an atoning new covenant with his chosen people. Therefore, when sbw requires Jesus atoning death to cover all humans, he declares that all humans are included in the new covenant and Jesus atoning blood makes all humanity entirely righteous through that covenant, which God makes with himself. Just as Abraham did nothing when God walked through the animal carcasses that were split in two (God walked through by Himself and swore by Himself), so Humans do nothing when Jesus went to the cross and died for my sins. Jesus death is particular to the sheep for whom he paid their sin debt. He did not pay for the entire human race.

The above comment by sbw is really an accusation against God. That should scare sbw, if he were aware of what he was doing.
