I hear DHS is looking for people to volunteer and there's always the "Citizen Corps". Maybe he could join one and be a Govcorp snitch and turn in anyone that questions the "authorities".
Is Iran NEXT?

If our intention is to occupy and to prop up a pro-Western government, we've lost before we've begun.
I don't think we should use military force, personally, but I'd hate to see a massive ground force accomplish none of its long-term goals.
-
Bombing with our troops next door to Iran would be disastrous. It would stir up such a hornet's nest that the current situation in Iraq would look like a picnic in comparison. Instead of losing 80 of our troops a month we might lose 3000 a month.
-
If Iran ever does, then we can talk about increasing the sanctions against it and such like. But unless that happens, we should leave Iran alone. Their oil production is declining, and Iran even imports gasoline. Given enough time the current Iranian government will fall without outside intervention. -

Ken, you're really something. Few people stir me like you. You are truly a tolerance test. What happened to your promise to quit this board to fight for your candidate of the week?

The quickest way to end all the islamofascists (including the iranian nut leader and his mullahs) who shout allah akbar while they slaughter innocent people is to bomb Mecca. Then they would see allah isn't akbar. Since no one in the West has the moral courage to do that, then I agree with this:

And I am just coming over here when I some time like on this three day weekend.
Hey, hillclimber1, if you can't stand the heat I am bringing in debate maybe you can get yourself named as a moderator and you can ban me. That's what people who call themselves "conservative" like to do - ban those who don't march in lockstep with them just like the Bush "conservatives" want to ban Ron Paul from the GOP presidential debates. -
-
it is foolish to think that they just want us to leave them alone. what they want is for us to abandon Israel. May that never happen.
-
-
I wouldn't ban anyone, except for repeated bad language, and would never accept a mod position under any condition. -
I am opposed to the Fairness Doctrine and I am opposed to McCain-Feingold.
-
Ken, mi amigo. Don't let these fake conservatives chase you outta here. Check out what their "great leader" is doing now.
Recent revelations illustrating the fact that the U.S. government is using a Sunni Al-Qaeda terrorist group formerly headed by the alleged mastermind of 9/11 to carry out bombings in Iran undermines the entire war on terror as a monumental hoax that is being exploited purely to realize a geopolitical agenda.
"President George W Bush has given the CIA approval to launch covert "black" operations to achieve regime change in Iran, intelligence sources have revealed. Mr Bush has signed an official document endorsing CIA plans for a propaganda and disinformation campaign intended to destabilise, and eventually topple, the theocratic rule of the mullahs." "The CIA is giving arms-length support, supplying money and weapons, to an Iranian militant group, Jundullah, which has conducted raids into Iran from bases in Pakistan," the London Telegraph reported yesterday.
<snip>
Jundullah is not the only anti-Iranian terror group that US government has been accused of funding in an attempt to pressure the Iranian government.
Multiple credible individuals including US intelligence whistleblowers and former military personnel have asserted that the government is conducting covert military operations inside Iran using guerilla groups to carry out attacks on Iranian Revolution Guard units.
It is widely suspected that the well known right-wing terrorist organization known as Mujahedeen-e Khalq (MEK), once run by Saddam Hussein's dreaded intelligence services, is now working exclusively for the CIA's Directorate of Operations and carrying out remote bombings in Iran of the sort that the Bush administration condemns on a daily basis inside Iraq SOURCE
He's funding Al Qaeda! That means our tax dollars are going to support the same terrorists we're supposed to be fighting. Now if that doesn't tell everyone that the "war on terror" is a crooked sham I don't know what will.
