I have no idea as the Bible is silent in this area, but I do not see entertainment as condemned in scripture neither. Wait... He was familiar with the sports of his time so he did get entertainment.

I find it instructive that just a little over 3 year ago Evangelist posted this on the marks of a false convert.

Open rebuke is better than secret love.
A person in an unbiblical divorce is not in position to lecture people on moral issues ,when in denial of their situation.
When the person refuses to acknowledge reality then posts thread after thread on moral issues it is not entertainment but rather base.

You need to stick to the topic of this thread and not turn this into an attack on me. But since you mentioned it it's simply your opinion that I had a unbiblical divorce. I disagree with you. Abuse can be a form of marital abandonment at least mental.

If you have to ask it probably is not of faith.

But it's between you and the LORD.

There may be mitigating circumstances when you are in a certain circumstance. Prayer doesn't hurt.

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Peter 2:16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

Mmm - catfish - breaded in cornmeal, fried in bacon fat - love it (Glad we are not under the law :) )
How in the world can that be a sin?:)

My opinion on reaching the lost is that we are to walk in the Light and share the gospel of Jesus Christ (we are to be "doers" of the Word and not hearers only). Which part to you find meaningless?

    How so?

I don’t mind WOTM as a method (it’s good for people who struggle with comprehension as it keeps things at an elementary level). Ray Comfort's theology is not the best, but I’ve no problem with the method.

And how does one's position on WOTM make their view of evangelism meaningless? (Makes WOTM sound like a cult).

What I am asking is that you back up your words (you "man up"). My view of evangelism is that we walk in the Light so that men can see our deeds and glorify God while we are preaching to them the gospel of Jesus Christ. What part of this do you reject?

I discovered the prototype for "Mike's Hard Lemonade" the hard way... (my real name is Mike BTW...)

I was stationed in Missouri with the USAF. I got around the base by walking as often as possible because I had a weight problem and needed the exercise. On the day in question, it was particularly hot outside. (This tends to happen rather frequently in July.) One of the senior officers was leaving for another post, so there was a farewell celebration. Farewell celebrations in the USAF invariably involve much alcohol. Little ol' Lt. Mike, being a non-drinker, was fairly gratified to see a punchbowl filled with lemonade, and I in my over-heated state, chugged down about 4-5 small cups of said lemonade.

In the meantime, the executive officer and his assistant were having this conversation:
Asst: Hey look, Mike's had about 5 glasses of that lemonade. I don't think he got the memo that's not all Country Time in there...
XO: We better tell him so someone can take him home...
Asst: NO WAY! I'm getting some popcorn and watch the fun!
XO: If he drives home and gets in a wreck, it's on us.
    Asst: Oh, all right...killjoy...

They told me, I called my wife a bit giggly, she came and got me. From then on, my rule on any cold drinks was "trust, but verify"...

Just to be clear, I was quoting Evangelist's website where he admits to getting drunk on more than one occasion. I was not talking about myself.

You are right I will stick with the OP.
I hate r movies where they portray divorce as an option.
In romans7:1-3..if the spouse is still alive and they marry another they live in perpetual adultery.

    I like w.o.t.m....they ask questions like;
If a person divorces their spouse unbiblically and marries another they are an
    Adulterer.
