What great things have American Muslims done at every level of our society and what contributions have American Muslims made in our country?
List please.
I do remember, though, some years ago while attending a particular Southern Baptist convention --------- "Dub" spoke via LiveCam and spoke of the contributions that Southern Baptists have made
Then there was not long ago--------at another Southern Baptist convention----------Condalezza Rice spoke in person--------THAT lady ought to run for President!!!!!!!!:type::type:
I don't read every thread here as I'm sure neither do you. So I don't know what threads your talking about.
And may I remind you, you have no authority here either, so you can not tell me I can not say we need to sometimes try and stay on topic. That is beyond any authority, or lack there of you have here.
people who hate God, hate christians, hate everyone really, blow up innocent civilains by crashing planes into buildings.
Yeah, muslims make big contributions alright.
obama is the current president, should we be focused on the present, not the past, or are we going to ignore it? Some seem to be delusional as to the year, who the president is and othet facts. discussing bush will get us nowhere, except people try to use him to make excuses for the current president, 'oh it's ok whatever obama does, because bush did........' this is the attitude of those totally sold out in love with obama, who clearly supports islam more then christianity, which he claims to be a part of, if he is he's sold out to satan.
If you seriously don't realize or appreciate their contributions then I guess there is no need for me to point them out by making a list. Your blinders will have to be removed by time, hopefully while you can appreciate the fact that great American's exist in all nationalities and religions.
But since I must, I will keep my list short because adding other name's could only detract from this young man and others in his category of American. He is, in my view, considered among the greatest of American's, not because he has a purple heart or a bronze star, but because he gave his full measure and paid the ultimate price for a Nation that questions his patriotism, contribution and the contribution of his people...
This man glad gave his all to a nation that says you can't be a "true" patriotic American because of your Religion. However, the real question was not how he felt about his country? That fact is indisputable. The question is how does the land where all men are created equal, feel about him?
I'm not the one bossing people around, donna. You telling people to stop being critical of Bush for doing the exact same thing Obama is now doing is ridiculous. It's as blind as the Obama worship we now see.
Bush did the exact same thing Obama is now doing. That is not off topic.
I don't want my comments to be misunderstood. Even though in the last three presidential elections I voted for third party candidates, I believe that there are Republicans still worth voting for. Bush & McCain were not the right ones. The wrong ones were put as the front runners. When Republicans always try to duplicate the Democrats, they always come up on the losing end.
Maybe in 2012, the Republican Party will see this & put a true conservative at the front of the party. I always vote Republican during the primaries, but if my picks don't make it as the nominee, I will vote for a third party candidate who supports my views. I personally wouldn't mind seeing a Palin-Jindal or Jindal-Palin ticket.
The question was what contributions haveAmerican Muslims made to our country and what great things have American Muslims done at every level of our society?
My cat has a greater ability to make cogent points that what you are putting out here.
So you all are saying a Muslim American who gave his life at war for his country didn't do a great thing? What greater thing can one do for their country than to give their life fighting for it's cause? I recall the outrage when you all felt Obama didn't support the troops fighting for their nation. Here is one who gave his life to the cause and you refuse to call him great or patriotic.
The fact that you all don't see this young man's sacrifice as great and patriotic shows your bias and is the reason a list would do no good. Your bias won't allow you to see others contribution as great.
Exactly what I said, this young man gave his life at war for his country and you ask "what contribution did an American Muslim make"? It is obvious how he felt about his country. He voluntarily joined the military during a time of war and made the ultimate sacrifice. When it comes to how his country feel about him, you ask what great thing has an American Muslim done...
I think that says it all...
