Show how MacArthurs words in #38 reflect what the Bible actually teaches?

    Yes, I can...and it isn't magic...like you are asserting.

When a sacrifice was made, the throat was slit and the blood ran out. The sacrifice died as a substitutionary, in atonement for the death the one who still lived should have given.
There was no magic in the blood that somehow made the guilty person to be no longer guilty.

But, you, whether you can grasp it or not, are making the blood into a magical elixir.

I listened to the video, and knowing the context, I do not hear what you say he is saying.

Listen from 55 seconds and you will hear JM clearly saying that Jesus didn't have to bleed to save us but His bleeding was only to fulfill Old Testament prophecy.

    This is UNBIBLICAL

    Do you read your Bible???

Without the SHEDDING OF BLOOD there is no forgiveness of sins! Hebrews 9. 22

    Explain exactly what this means

It means without death. Did they cut the sacrifice a little or kill it?

"The life" there you have it.
Again, can you tell me how much Blood is needed?

I am sure you will avoid the question. You can't answer it.
I will ask again, Why did Jesus die? Why didn't He just bleed a little. I am sure you won't answer that either.

Do you know what it means to shed blood, or for someone to have blood on their hands? It means death. Maybe it is you that does not understand languages?

    Deut 19:10 KJV
Is it speaking of cutting someone and them bleeding a little or is it speaking of killing someone?

Dude you ignorance of what the Bible actually teaches is very clear. Jesus Christ could have died without shedding a drop of blood. But this CANNOT have Atoned for any sins. Can you grasp this Great Truth?

Are you denying that the Bible teaches that Jesus had to shed His blood to make Atonement? This is an essential Truth

Because the Bible demands that Jesus had to shed His blood and not simply die. You seem to have problems understanding this simple Truth. I will pray for you

Answer the question I asked. In debate, both parties answer questions. Until you answer some , I won't answer any for you.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
    1 John 1:7

The word CLEANSES in the Greek is in the present continuance tense. Showing the ever cleaning Power in the actual Blood of Jesus Christ
