We are a closed primary state.
The primary is really unremarkable on the Republican side, as all but one have dropped out.
The interesting race is on the Democratic side.
Obama is running against "uncommitted."
It will be interesting to see if "uncommitted' beats Obama.
There are many conservative Democrats all over the state, but Western Kentucky in particular.
Yes, this should be interesting.
Now that the coal mining jobs are being threatened by the current administration, it will interesting to see how Eastern Kentucky votes, as well.
My wife is still on the Democrat rolls, although she always votes Republican in the general election.
She has already committed to vote for "uncommitted."
I voted Ron Paul and Andy Barr. My wife works the polls (she works at the school also), I took them all lunch (Dems and Repubs), there was ten voters before me at 11:00;' very light turnout; I guess it's a moot point now for the most part.
On the Republican side it is.
My wife and mother in law are Democrats and voted for uncommitted, as did several others.
That would make my day for uncommitted to beat Obama.
He has no chance in our state.
I believe he got 36% in 2008.
I only voted for non partisan races, as I did not go back to the Republican Party from third party in time to vote on the Republican side.
