I believe that the original mss. are inspired and that we have accurate copies of these. And that we have no 'Inspired' Word of God in the English language. For instance God said He would always preserve His Word there were many years in English where we didn't have any Bible. God has preserved His Words but in mss. form.
I don't believe God inspired an English version of the Bible no where do I see this taught in any NT church writing's Paul never wrote a letter to the Galatians and told them which 'version' of the OT they had to use. Never did the early church ever teach 1 version they never did. When Philip witnessed to the Eunech in the wilderness the Scripture he quote's differs from what Isaiah says. Just a couple of reasons I believe MSS Inspiration and Preservation.
That hobbyhorse has been broke for a long time, sister.
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Psalm 12:6-7
Who/what is the "them" in verse 7?
If it is the words of God, then He has promised to preserve them
from
(out of) this generation for ever.
You can't have your cake and eat it, too.

This is a Psalm, written by King David. Who do you think this verse is referring to? Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. This is prophecy of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the whole cannon of scripture is concerning and by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. His words are preserved for us forever. We find safety in HIM, who is also the Word of God.

Not one verse of scripture supports the notion of "autograph-onlyism".
It is a man-made doctrine with no historical or scriptural support.
If you can't swallow Psalms 12 (Which is a bit unbelievable), then chew on this a while:
If verse 15 is not talking about the autographs, (I don't know, it might still be talking about those "preserved pickled PEOPLE" in Psalms 12), then how in the world can 16 be talking about the autographs.
What is inspired?
Scripture.
What is given?
Scripture.
If you were not so deep in the quagmire of the extra-biblical doctrine of "autograph-onlyism"
you could see it plain.
Whether you accept the KJV as inspired scripture or not is a separate issue.

Anyway, just from reading Psalm 12, one can see that v 7 is God saying he is going to protect the oppressed from those who are deceitful and who are ignoring the needy (referred to in verses 2-4). That is what the whole psalm is about. It opens with the statement that "the godly" have disappeared. God will shelter the poor from the ungodly.
