I believe McCain is the only person running who has what it takes to turn this country around.
It seems like everyone forgets how close McCain was to being bankrupt in his primary run for the Republican primary nomination. This is a candidate who was on his last leg of a near failure. There were photos of him pushing his own luggage through the airport. Newspaper headlines reported that he pared back [nice spin word for fired] staff, and ran what was left of his campaign committee as a bare bones group on life support. Donations were at an all time low, and it was rumored that McCain was days aways from announcing his withdrawal from the primary.
Than, out of darkness of certain defeat, McCain rose up from the ashes of despair and within months was not only winning the primaries, he was once again flush with cash, and hiring staff to do more than push his luggage through the airports.
If McCain could do this, he has the best chance at turning around this nations repossession, and getting America back to work and buying homes.
He is more than capable to survive 5 years in a Vietnamese prison camp, turn around a death watch primary train, and able to get America back to the days of greatness.
Obama certainly can't boast of this; and Hillery's stint as first lady never came close to anything like this.
If I were a betting man, McCain would be my man.

So like don't take this the wrong way okay but what's your trip man? I'm not trying to be rude or insulting or anything but you go 180 degrees at the same time...it confuses me to my limit.
First you post a thread on the NAU seemingly to condemn it then turn around and tell us it's futile to resist. So I'm thinking well maybe you just don't have a very positive outlook which I can understand. But now you post this about John McCain a man who as much as tells us he's all about globalism and doing exactly what you supposedly see as a dire threat to this nation...the loss of our national sovereignty.
Help me out here will ya please. Who's side are you on the USA's or the globalists? -
Come election day I will exercise my right to vote, but I will not vote for any of the candidates that have been chosen to represent either party.
I was a registered republican for many years, but to send a message to the party I re registered as an independent.
I'm am not loyal to party lines because the candidate has 1 or 2 Christian ideals while the bulk of his campaign consists of pandering to everything objectionable to Gods word.
I will write in my choice for the Presidency of the United States.
This is my right as an American citizen and a tax payer.
And, my Christian values will be expressed this election day by choosing the candidate who I believe also holds those ideals.
Neither candidate for either party, who ever he or she may be, fits the bill for Christian values that this nation was founded on and what made it great.
For now. -

I'm Not for McCain Poncho
People are saying that McCain has no clue about the economic problems in the US; I say they are wrong. Anyone that can turn around a program/campaign that was headed for the graveyard, deserves to be slapped on the back.
This doesn't change my belief that Obama should win it all in November. However, McCain did show his abilities and skills, and that should scare the democrats a little.
Does that ease your confusion? -
Um, not really. I guess I just can't wrap my mind around one globalist minnion being any better than the next. No matter who is tending the wheel this boat always takes the same heading. The path of least resistance to tyranny it used to be national tyranny now it's global tyranny but it's tyranny none the less.
How is one more elite connected tyrant going to change anything? And the mainstream corporate media had to do more with McCain's "resurection" than he did. He's a good ole boy in the establishent. Of course they'll keep one of their own in the race who knows his place in the scheme of things and weed out the upstarts and "threats" to their well established global criminal enterprise. Like Ron Paul.
I just don't get the lesser of two tyrants theory I guess. I'm an American and as such I'll support other Americans but not internationalists posing as Americans. Even those internationalists who work real hard to portray themselves as "patriotic" American internationalists. There's no such animal.
A man can't be both a patriot and a traitor to his own nation at the same time. It doesn't work like that. -
The bible seems to make it pretty clear that a man cannot two serve masters because he'll love the one and hate the other. Which of John McCain's two masters do you suppose he hates...the American people or the "new international community"? I think his speeches tell us all we need to know about who John McCain the neocon globalist loves.
Hint: It ain't we the people.
He may indeed be the man to turn this country around but it will be to turn into another IMF/World Bank wasteland. -
I recommend you see what other parties are running a candidate. You might be surprised as to the options. Here in NY, we usually have some 10 - 12 candidates representing some 8 political parties.
If possible, vote for someone on the ballot
Salty
ps, Yes, I have made in write in ballots several times. -
McCain loves the war but votes against GI benefits.

I'm in favor of getting rid of all entitlementBack to the original question. I don't pick sides.
programs of the USofA Federal Government
save those which I am entitled to.
I'm in favor of the USofA being the globalists.
SO THERE! Put that in your pipe and smoke it -- but not anywhere near to me, I've got COPD (emphysema). -
You'll get what you're asking for either way. -
I believe it is too late for America to turn around. Several years ago, I conceded that the America I once loved and believed in is in the ash heap of the past and no longer exists. No one man, President or not, can turn America around. It is too far gone in the sea of moral decay and corporate greed and globalism. It is only by God's grace that we haven't been wiped off the face of the earth yet.

Many Will Disagree With You, But Not ME!
My friends and family think my view is gloomy, and not Biblical. I say it is Biblical, and while it may be gloomy, it is unfortunately true.
Thanks for your honest opinion.
