Ever wonder why so many road blocks are found along the way to thinking the Bible was right, freedom is better than slavery?
For example, removing monuments to those who advocated slavery is a step forward. But the defacing and pulling down of monuments lawlessly completely undercuts the effort. -

From an article I saw, the state did not have a flag at the time of secession. The first flag and even the second flag did not have the battle flag. The third flag from the 1890's introduced the battle flag emblem as part of the flag.
