I heard Sarah Palin answering a question from Katie Couric about providing proof that John McCain has been a big-time proponent of regulation during his 26 years in the Congress. She could provide nothing but a couple of talking points and a "I'll get back to ya".

I am starting to feel sorry for her. It is clear that the woman is in way, way over her head.

She should have been prepared for that question, but my feeling is, if the debates ever happen, she will make Biden look like the gaffe-ridden moron he really is.

My feeling is that if the VP debate happens, that Sarah Palin will look just like she has been looking - unprepared, unknowing, moose-in-the-headlights look, and in way, way over her head.

And I think yer being hateful.

Say, Ken, did that video look edited to you ? That look you talk about could have very well been placed there at a time to make her look bad, on purpose. What network does Couric work for ? Did you see her bristle at Palin's suggestion that Obama seriously lacks leadership skills ?

I'd like to see an unedited version, wouldn't you ?

In all fairness Ken, she has entered into a whole new political arena, and she cant possibly know everything about everything her first month into the process.

And, before you respond that "she should know" let me remind you that your beloved Bill Clinton was a state governor (from my home state no less) and when he went to Washington he didnt know squat either.

At this point in time, I am more concerned with how a candidate will represent the needs of our country, not their knowledge of political science or the history of the more than 500 elected officials serving in congress and the senate's voting records.

And, I am quite confident that if this was about Biden, that you would have at least 10 excuses why it is nonsense.

And would you be "faIir" if it had been Joe Biden who looked so insipid?

Why? Because Sarah Palin is a woman? Well, if Governor Palin can't handle the heat of a national political campaign, then she should go back to Alaska.

I don't care why you hate her, I just know you do, and it makes you irrational. You should repent.

Wait a second. You said that Palin didn't do any interviews. Now you are saying you saw one. This is more vintage Ken. Doesn't know what to say, and makes no sense, but keeps on talking.

How in the world should she be expected to know McCain's voting record over twenty-six years in Congress? If she had answered with facts, you would have accused her of not actually knowing but just repeating what they told her.

The truth is that there is nothing too silly for you to post as an attack against Palin.

    No, you're not.

That's not clear to objective people.

I do. It's because she believes in killing wolves from airplanes, but not babies in the womb.

Therein lies the difference between your view and mine...I dont see her as looking "insipid" and I doubt i would nitpick Biden so much as to think that of him if he had said it.

Again, you're nitpicking for issues that most of us reasonable folks wouldnt even dream up.

good greif.....I just saw online where Palin thinks that people with big heads wear big hats.....Oh my....how could she say that about folks with big heads,,,,they cant help it,,,,she is the DEVIL!!!!!!

Her abortion stance is what I like the best about her. What a picture of God's unconditional love for us Sarah Palin paints. God bless her and her family for setting this wonderful Christian example.

I don't hate her at all.

I know that criticizing the Republican goddess goes against the grain on this board, but I don't allow majority opinion to dictate my opinions.

So you claim to know my feelings? I thought only God can do that.

You were correct to criticize her answer. You are wrong to not engage the answers you have received.

Apparently the wind is what dictates your opinion. As it seems to change with where ever it blows.

Oh? You think that it should be open season on KenH on this board? You think that KenH shouldn't defend his honor? Well, no way. KenH will defend his honor. When KenH is attacked on this board KenH will fight back as KenH deems appropriate.

Yeah, anything to keep from addressing the challenges, eh ?

    Lighten up, Francis.

If you can't handle challenges, perhaps you should stay in the bluegrass threads ?

Starting silly threads about silly nitpicking non-issues is not defending your honor, it just makes you look childish and insecure.

Why dont you save your eager need to attack Palin and McCain for real issues, not these silly attempts at board revenge.

Honor? what honor? show me some.
