This sounds like street corner gossip to me.
What interview?
What context?
What was shown and what was left out?
What's wrong with "I'll get back to you?" if you don't have an immediate answer?
How does this provide any useful information about the Obama-Biden ticket?
We do not want to get sidetracked about what is at stake.
4,000+ American children are guaranteed to be murdered while in their mothers womb if Obama is elected.
Those who elect him are just as guilty of murder as if they pulled a trigger themselves.
[questioning the salvation of other members snipped]
You are correct. The GOP pretty much has this election to prove they'll do something about it, and I do believe Palin was a step in the right direction, as far as that is concerned.
You stated a child isn't alive until they start breathing. Even when confronted with John the Baptist's salvation, in the womb, you state he wasn't alive, so your position has to be that it would have been fine to abort him.
So to engage on this subject with you, seeing how callous you are about it, really makes me ill.
You think what you want about me. If you think a bumper sticker will get my vote, so be it.
Because I believe life starts at first breath and ends at last doesn't mean I have no value for that which is in the womb. Nor does it say I endorse abortion. Certainly what is in the womb is a precious gift from our divine creator and though not yet alive (in my view), should not be denied the future opportunity to live and make contributions to his world. Not only John the Baptist but God acknowledged to Jeremiah, that his design and purpose for man goes pre-womb. God said to him BEFORE I placed you in the womb (even before you call life), I had purpose for you. And I believe he has a purpose for all that he places in the womb.
I don't call ice water or water ice. They each have the potential to be the other and surely the purpose and potential is undeniable but each has yet to meet the final criteria (in my view)... To say I melted the ice by unplugging the freezer is, like when does life begin, a matter of opinion and not fact. At what point does water become ice, I say when it is frozen and you say when it is placed in the freezer.
That is the most foolish bunch of gargabe I have ever heard, from a preacher or non.
Having a heartbeat, thoughts and reactions does not mean a child is alive until it breathes it's first breath?
What trash!!
No wonder unbelievers think Christians are looney :BangHead:
Garbage. Heresy. As bad as the theory of evolution.
Sickening.
God made Adam from the dust, he formed the rest of us in the womb. If you can pull out a bible verse that says a fetus ain't alive, you should. Or else, you could treasure the developing BABY as fully human, from conception.
I know about the breath of life, and have addressed it.
You never addressed the Holy Spirit dwelling in inanimate objects yet, like I challenged you on, months ago.
And don't try to twist my words against me. The fetus as an inanimate object is your argument. I say the moment of conception makes them fully God's image. And I also say the Holy Spirit only lives in alive human beings.
Prove it from scripture. I am not disagreeing with that idea. But you cannot prove that life begins at conception from the Bible. I wish scripture made it very clear, but it does not. So we either accept scripture, as I do ... even if I am not happy with what it says ... or we call others names who do not agree with us. I stay with scripture and not with your rebellion against it. But don't call scripture garbage, please.
