    No, I do not know all the details of the background of Bart Ehrman, neither do I intend to research them for the purpose of discussing his status. My personal opinion (based on what I do know) is that he was never more than a nominal Christian, but my discussion of him on this thread was because to his views on the text questions, the status of the autographs, etc. I believe that salvation is through repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. However, that is not the topic of this thread. I replied to your comment because it sounded you were saying that I believe that Ehrman once believed everything I believe (your post # 56). You say that is not what you meant, and I accept that explanation. With that, I will end my discussion of what I think will lead further and further off the topic.
