Above is a web-site dedicated to gathering 10,000 signatures to change our Constitution. At the site you will find the contents of the proposed amendment.
What are your thoughts concerning the need of this; or even the legality of this proposed amendment in light of the 1st Amendment.
Would this be a violation or not? What do you think?
I believe this would violate the Constitution and I also believe it is unnecessary.
God Bless.

By definition it would be constitutional, because it's a proposed amendment to the constitution.
Is it wise? I don't think so. How would courts balance the First Amendment contradiction of this new amendment?
The constitution should not be amended for trivial matters, and I consider this one. -

I didn't consider this when I posted. But I meant this would be a contradiction to the First Amendment.

Bad idea! What happens when enough people get together and amend the constitution to outlaw Christianity?
Freedom is not freedom if you are not allowed to have a dissenting point of view -
The Pledge as it is now is not unconstitutional. Also, the pledge has changed several times since its inception. So I see no reason to protect the pledge any more than it already is.

If those doing the litigating against Christian free exercise would just quote the whole amendment, there would be no problem.
There has been a lot of prohibiting the free exercise thereof!, by judges! -
Useless amendment, designed to make something that is, indeed, unconstitutional (as a piece of government sponsored material), constitutionally protected. Rubbish. I think this'll be like the "flag desecration" amendment -- a failure.
