You can change your mind/vote on this one. I'm feeling optimistic right now on account of the 'Kavanaugh bump' and Trump's tireless campaigning so I'm thinking Republicans are gonna retain control of both houses...………...but I could change my mind later. :D

I believe that the Democrats will at least take control of the House and make some gains in the Senate, although I am skeptical of them gaining control of the Senate. It's quite possible, but not probable.
Here in Texas, enthusiasm for Beto is quite strong and Ted Cruz is not well liked. I don't know if that will be enough to unseat Cruz, but it certainly doesn't help him. -
From 'liberal' The Hill:
Poll shows Cruz up 5 points on O'Rourke in Texas
I'm convinced now of this 'backlash', it's real. Democrats showed their true colors for all to see, AND, AND, they're STILL showing their true colors by not trying to calm all the violence that they've incited amongst their wacko protesters. Wait & see, hide & watch, the violence that the Dims are egging on will be their undoing.
Backlash: Post-Kavanaugh, Key Senate Races Have Turned South for Democrats
DUMB, really DUMB, on the Dims part. Americans don't go for this radical crazy uncivil crap that the Dims are promoting. DUMB. Is this all they got? -
MOB TACTICS BACKFIRE=> Republican Voters Now More Angry and Energized after Kavanaugh Attacks and Liberal Mob Violence
"....Republicans are madder about the Kavanaugh controversy than Democrats are and more determined to vote in the upcoming elections because of it.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 54% of all Likely U.S. Voters say they are more likely to vote in the upcoming midterm elections because of the controversy surrounding President Trump’s U.S. Supreme Court nominee. Only nine percent (9%) say they are less likely to vote. Thirty-four percent (34%) say the controversy will have no impact on their vote. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Sixty-two percent (62%) of Republicans are more likely to vote because of the Kavanaugh controversy, compared to 54% of Democrats and 46% of voters not affiliated with either major political party.
Sixty-two percent (62%) of all voters are angry about the U.S. Senate’s treatment of Kavanaugh, with 42% who are Very Angry...." -

The election has not occurred yet, but I do know that Cruz is unpopular. A large number of Republicans hold their nose to vote for him. He gets votes because of party loyalty. But people are not so loyal to the Republican Party as you might think. The President is not popular and not the economy is sagging after the President has gotten us into a trade war.
If the economy continues the decline, Cruz and the rest of the Republicans are going to find themselves on the street.
