Any word in Italics was added by the translators.
That makes the KJV Bible an Imperfect Bible in my eyes... I bet the moderator deleates this message too, like she did with some of my other messages too..
Censorship is Ungodly, Sinful and just plain not right.

Shall I disprove your KJVO Theory?

Well, you can see 2 different languages for their clarity. American Sign Language (ASL) and English language. You speak English and I speak ASL.
ASL: See blue there that my car
How would you translate from ASL to English?
English: You see the blue car there. That is my car.
That is why the KJV translators used the Italics. -
I don't think "imperfect" would quite fit in that category because in actuality all translations done by man are somewhat "imperfect"; but they can still contain the "perfect Word of God". There IS a difference.
Since the Bible is our standard here: Where do you find that censorship is either "unGodly" or a sin?
Is the FCC sinning when they tell you that you cannot use certain foul language on your amateur radio transmitter? -
I define "censorship" to be when the government
says what can or cannot be said
on the air, what can or cannot be said
in public places, what can or cannot be
printed in a book.
By my Definition this Baptist Board (BB)
Bulletin Board (bb) (BBbb) cannot comit
censorship. This BBbb is a PRIVATE place
belonging only to the Webmaster
and is adminsistered by those
ASdmins and Moderators that He (the
Webmaster) has chosen.
It is not nice to wiz on the walls
of a private home.

You know Bro, out in MacyCalister, Okielahoma
that you never, never, never, ever
wiz on no electric fence -
You don't know how right you are, except it wasn't no 'lectric fence, it was a 5,000 watt AM radio tower right thar' in Okie Citie when I were a 'ung 'ingineer.
(WKY never sounded better though.)
You only do it once, though, and only when you're young and STUPID! -
Did I actually admit that to the whole world? I guess the "stupid" part still applies.
-
...and you guys thought I was dropped on my head when I was a baby.

BibleJunky,
You just don't know how many Mac-truck-sized holes we (collectively) have shown the KJVO camp, but, well, let's just say they prefer not to see them. You know, "If it ain't in my granpappy's King James, it just ain't a Bible!" That sort of thing.
In Christ,

Why not cry to the many translating commities about them not showing italics? -

2 Thessalonians 2:3 as well.
II.Theffalonians II:3 (KJV1611):
Let no man deceiue you by any
meanes, for that day shall not come, except
there come a fallilng away first, and that
man of sinne bee reuealed, the sonne of
perdition,
2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV1769-paper):
Let no man deceive you by any means:
for that day shall not come, except there come
a falling away first, and that man of sin be
revealed, the son of perdition;
2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV1769-electronic):
Let no man deceive you by any means:
for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV1873):
Let no man deceive you
by any means: for that day shall not come, except there
come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed,
the sone of perdition;
2 Thessalonians 2:3 (TMB)
Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall
not come, unless there come a falling away
first, and that man
of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,
Say, you aren't talking about the electronic copy not
being italicized while the paper copy is?
Seems the KJV1769, the KJV of choice for most KJVOs
has the same problem.

God in His word writes that we are to be careful what we listen to.

Translating from one language to another requires it,if it going to make sense. -
(1) "But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal." (Rom. 11:4, KJV)
(2) "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries." (1 Cor. 14:2, KJV)
The italicized words in these verses are not found nor implied in the Greek text. In these instances, the KJV translators illegitimately introduced commentary into their translation. -

So, Mr. Anti-Alex, if we are such a sharp crayon. 'splain sumthin' to me. What's the AV1611 symbol or icon on your profile? Do you think the 1611 is the right Bible or the 1769, or maybe another version?
If you are obviously anti-Alex, then I assume you don't have a problem with the NKJV, am I correct?
