I like the Believer's Study Bible (now out of print). It was available as the Baptist Study Bible for a while (now also out of print). I now have the notes in my Quick Verse, so the Bible spends most of the time on the shelf.

Does anyone have this Bible? I found it on Google.

I have the Reformation Study Bible in ESV. I'm really liking the ESV in my daily reading and studying and the notes so far seem really good. :)

MacArthur Study Bible, NKJV. I'd love to get a NASB edition of it.

The KJ Study Bible is excellant so is the NKJV Study Bible.

In high school I had the Quest Study Bible, but I didn't like it then and don't now.
I now have a NASB Study Bible, which is the same as the NIV Study Bible just a different version, the NRSV Oxford Annotated Editions, which is very thorough but tends to be a bit scholarly, and a study-Bible edition of the Jerusalem Bible.
I want the Spiritual Formation Study Bible and I have on order the Orthodox (as in Eastern) Study Bible so that I can be exposed to other perspectives.
I still prefer, however, my good only NIV cross-reference Bible with no study notes. I have three of them and they are all quite worn in! -

I didn't like the notes on the Zondervan KJV. But then again, I'm not a big fan of the NIV and I'm pretty sure that most of the notes are the same.
I do have a MacArthur NKJV Study Bible - and I'll pull that out if I want to read notes on something, but I mainly stay away from study bibles.
Though the Sword one that The Scribe posted looks good. -

I don't use study bibles. When I was ordained a deacon, they wanted to present me with a study bible. Instead, I requested that they get me one of those
Giant Print Bibles
I have bad eyes. -

Yes, i just got a KJVer and like it, especially the wide margins. The only drawback is that some of the changes from the thee/thou/ye to you/your are a bit awkward grammatically, especially if you've memorized them in the old kjv, but its a good read and the changes from words like "changeth" to "changed" and so on are refreshing.

P.S.- I forgot to mention it has some excellent notes on prophecy and textual criticism:thumbs:

I enjoy the MacAurthur Study Bible NKJV (weak Greek text but I can make up for that)
Also the Reformer's Studay Bible NKJV (was called the New Geneva study Bible) with lots of whole-page notes by great men.
The overall notes and maps in the NIV Study Bible (I got a hardback and keep it for study purposes and not preaching) are unmatched. Qaulity stuff.
But I will preach from the old Scofield Reference Bible 1917 KJV. I am a dispensational yet reformed believer and this fits well. And since I got my first one in 1957 (and four since) that are all identical, I know about on a page where any verse is.
I often forget an exact zip code of a verse, but know the area and can quickly scan pages for the "spot" where that verse is!
