Once again an obviously false doctrine has been posted.
1) Does the bible teach Jesus became t he means of salvation for the whole of humanity? Yes, 1 John 2:2
2) Does the bible teach the lost are unable to seek God and trust in Christ? Nope, John 3:16
3) Does the bible teach the lost are called to believe? Yes everyone believing into Him will not perish. John 3:16
4) Repentance and faith are used by God to choose people for salvation, thus occurs before our individual election for salvation, 2 Thessalonians 2:13. -

Does this poster think everyone who says "Lord, Lord" is saved? I doubt it, since Matthew 7 teaches otherwise.

Revelation 22:17 has been called the greatest invitation. Those who read Spurgeon have, undoubtedly, read his use of this passage as an invitation:
"The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost." -
28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Mt 11
This is a statement of fact:
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. Jn 3 -

John 3:16 is a statement about how God loved the World. I agree it isn't an invitation. It is a statement of fact. God loved the World by sending Jesus that all who believed woukd have everlasting life. -

the THEORY of any limitations on the extent of the Death of Jesus Christ, is destroyed by MANY passages in the Old and New Testaments. If we are to accept what God actually says, and not what we would like Him to say, then no Christian can ever believe in this FALLACY!

The opposing view is that Christ died for mankind, as a whole, to save those who woukd believe. -

The God of the opposing view (that Christ is the Propitiation for the sins of the whole world as opposed to only those who believe) is the exact same God of those who believe in limited atonement.
The difference is not God but human understandings of God's mind.
I have seen your confusion in others, in some who hold that opposing view and accuse Calvinit's of worshipping another god.
In the end it is a sin that must be overcome - one of leaning on one's own understanding, referring to a child of God as pagan, and essentially demeaning God by not recognizing He is the One being worshipped. -
Unlimited Atonement does not mean that God is not God, or that His will isn't accomplished.
God states that He desires none perish. He stated that His desire was for Israel to repent and that He would intervene (they wouldn't be conquered). He states that He desired Jerusalem to repent, that only if they would He would protect them.
But God is not a child. He has a will, a plan, that He will accomplish (a greater desire).
We see this in Psalm 22. And in the Garden. We see this all through the Old Testament.
The opposing view does views God as drawing people to Himself, salvation being accomplished in the life of an individual upon belief.
Your mischaracterization of the opposing view is dishonest. As such it indicates a weakness in your own position as you hold it. Otherwise you would have been able to argue your view from a position of integrity.
