Obviously, the blessings of the seed of Abraham, Jesus Christ, included purchasing the means of salvation for the whole of humanity.
Not at issue.
But as Galatians 3:14 demonstrates on those God transfers into Christ receive the reconcilation.
See those whom Christ died for, it redeemed them from the curse of the Law Gal 3:13-14
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
So everyone redeemed from the curse, They are given the Spirit of Promise to regenerate them and give them Faith
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Faith here refers to Christ, they receive the promise of the Spirit through Christ. Thats the Blessing of Abraham ! You apparently dont know what it is and what Redemption effected.
1)
Did BF address my post?
Nope
2)
Did BF now refer to yet another verse that also does not support Limited Atonement?
Yes
Who had Christ redeemed when Galatians was written?
Believers who had believed before Paul wrote "us."
Does the verse suggest He had redeemed all the people saved in the Second Century to the present?
Nope.
Since our faith is utilized by God in making His election of us for salvation (2 Thessalonians 2:13) our faith exists before we are redeemed.
Lastly the saved are regenerated before they are sealed in Christ with the Holy Spirit.
So according to scripture, BF's views are in almost complete conflict with truth.
The
Blessings of Abraham applies to both jews and gentiles. Every jew and Every Gentile Christ died for, it redeemed them from the curse of the Law, and each one of them will have the blessing of Abraham, the Spirit come on them, through Faith/Christ.
Christ pours out the Spirit on them He died and redeemed Titus 3:5-7
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
See this proves Gal 3:13-14
So anybody who never receives the Spirit of regeneration from the Saviour Jesus Christ, Then He never died for them and redeemed them. They have no part in the Blessings of Abraham !
Good Grief, the cited passage totally supports the biblical view.
1)
Titus 3:5 lists the order as first the washing of regeneration, then the renewing of the Holy Spirit.
2)
The Holy Spirit was "shed on us" after we were saved by Christ by the washing of regeneration.
3)
After we were justified by the washing of regeneration, then being made alive eternally we are heirs of eternal life.
What I posted supported my view. The Blessing of Abraham is Salvation to everyone who is saved. If one is never saved, then consequently Christ never died for them, they werent of the Spiritual Seed of Abraham.
The grace of God through faith, that is salvation. That is the new birth/regeneration. Since you do not believe what I say then at least trust what the bible says.
That verse doesnt say Christ died for people never saved. Those people Christ died for were healed/saved by His stripes, says so here 1 Pet 2:24
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
How were they saved according to this verse ? Whats the testimony of this scripture ?
With Christ comes everything given to bring about ones Salvation. Grace is from Jesus Christ, Faith is from Jesus Christ, repentance is from Jesus Christ The
Holy Spirit is from Jesus Christ. Thats why by His stripes we are saved. Why you fighting against the success of Christs death friend ?

Why is it you say what something does not say, but do not address what Christ having bought those heading for destruction does say.
My view for at least the third time is it means Christ died for those never to be saved.
And why did you ignore that verse 24 refers to those in Christ only, those who have "received" the reconciliation provided by Christ's death for humanity?
If you think I would call calvinism the truth then that just shows that you lack basic reading skills. Calvinism, as I see it, is another gospel. in other words a false gospel and as such must be condemned.
