That statement cannot be denied!! Such insight from the CDC.

 

In Italy, just 2 days after the numbers above 15,113 have contracted this disease and 1,016 have died. That is 6.72%.

Who knows how far and wide this disease will spread, but if that death rate holds and it does continue to spread uncontrolled ...I just don't know, could it affect 1 billion people - leading to 67 million deaths?

I'm getting anxious to see some good evidence that this disease is being contained!

 

Jim Bakker (YES-PTL) on ROKU says we are passing through Revelation Chapter 6 (4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse) and 1/4 of the inhabited earth is about to perish.

Televangelist Jim Bakker is being sued by the state of Missouri for selling fake coronavirus cures on his website. On Monday, the Jim Bakker Show and six other companies were warned by the the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to stop selling unapproved products and treatments.

Bakker's website offered products like "Silver Sol Liquid," that claimed to be able to diagnose or cure the coronavirus illness, COVID-19. In a letter to the Jim Bakker Show, the FDA said the products are in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

well its not his view only and i think it mIght be possible - for me that would mean Revelation 6 is an interim period before the Tribulation starts - maybe the Beginning of Sorrows Jesus spoke about.

My post is not meant to be argumentative, just more out of curiosity. Do you think those percentages could be skewed as it is only based on REPORTED cases. From what i understand, you can get healed up at home very easily if you are healthy with no one even knowing what you had.

 

If you get it and recover you will have no immunity to it should you acquire it again. In addition, your lungs will be compromised for life.

 

Do the limits on the size of groups for concerts, etc., apply to worship services?

Yes, because of it evidently often being asymptomatic I think the reported cases could be/most likely low which would change the percentage. But on the other hand, the death rate in nursing facilities is even much higher and the count among that particular group of patients is pretty cut and dry. Another thought is that the comparison to to the flu death rate could also very well be low as a lot of people are likewise probably not tested. So yes, I'm kind of looking at all those averages while trying to weigh the differences.

 

The problem getting a handle on the death rate is the death rate is calculated as a percentage of the infection rate. Infection rate is only known if people are tested. Since it's possible for someone to get the coronavirus and not show any symptoms, this someone would never be tested. Therefore, even though they had the virus they would not "count" in the calculations. On the other hand it's very likely that someone who gets the coronavirus will survive, so they would be included in the calculations. Right now only people showing symptoms are getting tested.

I'm wondering if the higher rate in Italy is due to the fact that they are only testing people with severe symptoms that are in the dangerous statistical category? (i.e. elderly people with underlying conditions.)

 

On the contrary, if one get a virus and recovers from it that is the best immunity one can have. Your body will have developed T-cells that instantly recognize that invader next time and go to work before it even gets a chance.

If I had already had the disease and recovered I would have no problem being out on the front lines to care for those currently affected.

There is no evidence of permanent lung damage and such a condition is unlikely to be the case.
