    May God bless you
    in your more doing!

I ran into some super floor degreaser.
It cuts right through hydrolic oil
and doesn't harm the surface of the
floor. Be sure to bring your sunglasses,
    that floor is SHINEY!

Sherrie, won't be going that way today. His kids are having an end of year baseball party. Gib did say to look for him to be around sometime today.

I have been invited to supper by a co-worker/friend's sister. I have always had a crush on her and was blown away when she called. I think she was prompted. Not nervous, just a little cautious. If I were to ever get married again, she has the qualities I would look for in a spouse. What am I talking about? It's just supper, right?

Jim!! Jimbo! Ninety-Nine! I have a filter on my net that filters out chat rooms--I tell folks that it will filter out Captain Kangaroo if it knew that Bunny Rabbit was a "Funny Bunny!(know what I mean??)

One particular time there was a article on MSN(my home page)--that had some Hollywood "pansy's" on it holdin' hands and all that queer stuff--so I tell my wife, "Come here Honey and see how good this filter is at filterin' out this wacko junk!" And I click on the reference---much to my amazement it didn't filter out that particular interview and picture--I had to tell my wife, "Well, that just proves that besafeonline ain't God!"

I really don't know how a chat site works or if this "Micky Mouse" computer will handle one--it just won't be the same--being off the Baptist Board--I don't know!

    Your buddy,
    Blackbird

Afternoon, everyone!! I had to get up early, too, tater!
Me and some of the teen girls at my church are singing at the Father's Day BBQ, and we had to practice this morning. Then I ran errands, bought dog food, washed the car, picked up some bread and milk.

Came home, mopped the floors.. and here I am! :D

    Did I miss anything exciting?

    Audrey,
Blackbird's here if that counts. My wife is at a Woman's Bible Conference and I'm tendin' to the kids--its easier than Oprah lets on and that wacko doctor she has on her show all the time. I'm surprised they let somebody who don't know anymore than he does get on the air. But that's Hollywood, ain't it!!

Believe it or not---I was in the kitchen a few minutes ago washin' dishes when my mother-in-law called--"Just to check on things!"

    Sherrie,
You ought to see my tomatos!! Got some as big as softballs--all still green, though! And you're right--its gonna take some of those "sunshiny ninety" days to get them to start red'in up! The corn is finished tosslin' and should be ready to pull in a week and a half. My sister from Baton Rouge usually comes and helps shuck and cut off the cobb! We have fun--she knows that I behave in real life like I do on the board--so does my wife---I have my electric fence built around my tomatos and pea patch---gonna turn it on tonight! Have 5 hills of watermelons---fixin' to bloom--they're outside the fence--so there's a good chance the deer will come and polish the vines before melons even have a chance to grow!! Its one of those wait and see things!! The tiller is runnin fine--anytime you want to borrow it--come on over--if we ain't home just go ahead and take it--though if you to come--call me so we can be sure to be home--you know how Southern Baptist preachers are--invited to this and that--although nobody from the CBF has ever invited me to a B-B-Q like they do you---though I am gonna be busy that day they wanted everybody to come!!! Thanks for being my friend--My wife and I need one!

    Your Southern Baptist buddy,

Nawwwww, about the tiller! I was ridin' into Jackson to see one of our members in the hospital and so I told(bear down on that word) my wife, "On the way home I'm gonna stop by Sears and buy me a new tiller!"---I waited for her to go get the keys to my gun cabinet----BUT----there was no resistance! Instead it was, "Sure, Go ahead! You've been needin' one!" So calm! So cool! So level headed!! Almost took all the fun out of going to buy one, huh??

    your buddy,
    Blackbird

Am I talkin' to an empty shop today--Where did Audrey go?? Where'd ya go, girl! Guess I am!

HEY! Back when I ate flour (Its white...I don't eat white foods...remember) I loved fried Green Tomatoes....yyyyyyyyyuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyy! I could make a meal out of them.

Ok....I tried something different today....Pepsi One. Its not Coke (Got to have that certain belch or it is not good!)...but after 2 months of giving up soda's....Oh man I got an unsugar high! I bought a case. I also still bought a case of my water folks...I am going to allow my self a soda treat only once in a while. Not everyday! Also got the de-caf coffee! Man I am drink style'n now!

Ok...Well Kenny said I could, but he was sticking to his Dr. Peppers. He said, I wasn't forcing Pepsi One on him!

And also Kenny said he still wants his red meat. Hmmmmmm...wish I could get him to see it just a little more my way.

What do you call it when a person only eats fish and poultry, and eggs, No other meats? I know there is a name for it. That is what I truly want to do. I just wish someone named Kenny the Son would do it too.

He got mad and said ENOUGH MOM! He bought a bunch of those Spaghetti and meatball, Raviola type of things hehehehehehe! because I bought a lot of chicken and fish....hehehehehehe! Well I paid for it all. Even the Chef Boyardee!

pssst...I bought a lot of Tuna (Was on sale hehehehehe!)...(Kenny says, Oh man, Mom stop!) and shrimp, Halibut(?), Cod, and I think its whiting. Oh and some Chicken Breast. Lots of salad fixings!

Kenny said he is applying for a Job at McDonalds sometimes this week. hmmmmm....Wonder what that was all about?

Well I am on break for a second...and then back to work folks!

we had fried green tomatoes just the other day--along with fried squash---"Hush my mouth!!!" Okra ain't bloomin' yet but we'll have some of that when it does start comin'in--

Now, get this picture! This morning our church youth were havin' a car wash---tryin' to get up money for a Bible Conference in Panama City with Johnny Hunt as guest speaker---anyhow--ole Blackbird is there with um along with our Youth Minister---must have been 20 kids there--anyhow--

One of my deacons sees me at church this past Wednesday--he works offshore and is gone every other week---but he's talkin' with me--man, I'd give my life for that man--anyhow--he tells me, "Brother David! I'm gonna come over later on this week and mow your grass(we live in the pastorium next to the church)--it looks like it needs mowin'!"

Anyway--get the picture here! We're in the church parkin' lot washin' cars and here comes that deacon. Guess what he's drivin' up to cut my yard with??? You guessed it!!! A John Deere 2270 75 horsepower tractor with a 8 foot hay mower attached---and he went to cuttin' my grass like that tractor was a little 28inch cut ridin' mower!!

Anyway, I got a kick out of it and would have done the same if he were my preacher! It happens, folks! I wanted to see if he'd let me cut and him wash cars . . . but sometimes men are funny about who they let drive their tractors!! So all I could do was stand there and watch him cut my grass wishin' it were me on that tractor!

    Your buddy,
    Blackbird

    Hello Everyone!
Wow, I miss a few days and have to go looking for you all!

How is everyone? It's been hot here about 90. Too hot for us rain-people. But we'll survive. yesterday I went with all my grandchildren to the lake and did my best to keep from being drowned. We had a great time.

Today, I'm sticking to ice tea!

    Oh, to swim!!

I'm sooooooooooo sick of the rain! Today, it's finally warm enough to swim, but I can't find anyone to go with me! It's so boring to swim by yourself.. sigh..

I'll get over it. Watch it be nice tomorrow when I'll be busy all day!

Audrey???????? You mean, nobody on the board has explained Blackbird's "Alter Ego" to ya! Blackbird's altar ego is a tractor enthusiast---any kind of tractor--runnin', not runnin', brand new, "hunk of junk"---Japanese made, American made, those silly lookin' Russian models--if it belches diesel fumes Blackbird will be on it like Love Bugs on a Cadillac!!

One time a buddy of mine in north Mississippi "farmed" himself and this tractor out to do some bush-hoggin' for this rich dude near Memphis--he was clippin' around this rich man's pond--the rich man calls it a "Lake!" but in Texas and Mississippi its still a pond---anyhow--he's runnin' his tractor along the spillway dam over by the deep end of the pond and notices something out over in the lake. He makes another pass and gets off his tractor and walks to the edge of the pond---just what he thought---he pulls his clothes off(in Mississippi you can do that in remote, rural areas--ain't noooooooobody around but you and the Lord Jesus!!!)---and dives into the pond--sure enough--its a submerged tractor!

He talks with the rich dude--"Who's tractor is that in the middle of your pond??"

"Its mine! I lost control of it and ran it off a couple of months ago! I tell you what--if you can get it out of the pond--its yours!"

This buddy gets a chain and his tractor---goes over to the pond--takes his clothes off one more time(you can do that in Mississippi!!)--hooks up to the submerged tractor's axle--kicks it off in neutral--he pulls the tractor home, cleans it up real good and starts it----an International 906--snazzy big ole thing---

Now, I know you're bored--but just thought I'd let 'cha know--you just liable to read just about any ole tractor story from ole Blackbird's mind!!

Dan & Sherrie A few days ago I had some bad news. Local dial-up was iffy at best. The GOOD news is a day late and a dollar short, but well worth the wait. You have to imagine Dick Vitale saying this, "Broadband Baby! He's cookin' now!"

After catching up on the coffee shop, I sense a conspiracy theory. You know, I've never seen Dr. Bob and Sherrie post at the same time. (Scratching his head) I smell a fish. And isn't it strange that Dan and Smoke Eater aren't around at the same time? I think there's more to Dan than meets the eye.

Dan I see you are a posting junky. I think that the playing field is now even. See you around. ;)

Gib - good to see you back - old buddy.

So what are you saying - did you a new highspeed internet service. My telephone line is OK - but sometimes I think I could take a nap waiting for the thing to work!!

Did you check out all the weird stuff blackbird has been posting?

Was Sherrie mumbling about being 24 - before your connection went bad?

    Hey have a good evening.
