Anything to help you feel better - that's what we're all here for - to lift each other up!!

By the way - how is your stomach feeling today?

And if yelling makes you feel better - you can yell at me anytime you wish!!!

PS - I love your righteous indignation!!!

Ya know.. around here, every summer, the FFA has a "tractor day".. you'd be amazed how many tractors a bunch of High school boys can come up with!

    Jim,

Does FFA mean the same thing that it did when I went to high school (graduated in 67) - back then it meant Future Farmers of America.

If it does mean the same thing - does Canada expect to export all its future farmers to America? :D :D

I haven't a clue what FFA means,,It was a quote by someone else.

Not sure if we could export our farmers. They might have some pride in what they do.

It was interesting to note that without Canada, the USA would be down 50 per cent in exports.

    Cheers,

    Jim

I had highspeed cable modem internet service installed. I did have a time downloading the service via USB port, but eventually it did (does) work.

As far as Blackbird goes, nothing he says surprises me. I would be surprised if he didn't say anything. Then I would know something was wrong.

    Sherrie 24? She doesn't look a day over 23.

Dan, Looks like you're in the lead. From Chris Berman, "Will..he..go..all.....the.....way?"

    Gib,

Come Tuesday - I'll be watching two construction jobs at the same time - which will seriously impact the amount of time I can spend on BB.

Withdrawal will probably be agonizing - worse than dieting!!

    Jim,

If your FFA does mean Future Farmers of America - in the big scheme of things - Canada is on the North American continent - so in some sense Canandian young men could belong the above named organization.

Yep FFA still means Future Farmers of America.

However, FHA (Future Homemakers of America) was deemed "sexist" and renamed FCCLA (Future Career and Community Leaders of America).

Most men (boys) would probably not want to be called Homemakers !! But I met a lady last summer who did most of the work on the family farm while her husband worked for the Post Office. The chauvinist in me cringed when I saw a lady doing that difficult work - guess that makes me sexist - but I still open doors for ladies - momma taught me well!!!!
