AuDzY...actually I have a few more things to do! But everything looks spiffy clean!

Son says he is eating at friends tonight! I just don't get it. Well no cooking tonight for me. Probably just a can of tuna for me.

So who is a future farmer around here?

AuDzY...In Missouri...you can buy a ten Acre Mini Farm. But most Farmers I know around here start at 80 acres and go up!

Dan I am feeling a lot better..I guess. I had a Crying Jag that lasted awhile, and then that did not help the tummy. But I seem to be fine now. That medicine helps pretty good. I did cheat and have a PepsiOne today. I know that was not good on the tummy. But it felt good going through the blood stream.

I am not going to let all this junk get me down. But these last two years have done me in. Husband died...Son moves out of house to college....daughter off doing her thing with hubby...granddaughter moves out.

Suddenly everything I was, went way out the door!Suddenly a 4 bedroom house that was toooooo small, has become almost toooo much. Everybody and there brother for the last 2 years has wanted nothing but the money for all the medical bills, bills, bills, bills, school clothes, bills bills, bills, and I have paid them off, but in hock up to my neck with bills to pay off bills. more keep coming, and I can't even get a "Thank you" from any of my kids. UGH! I better stop now, before I get on a roll..........

    Sherrie,

Unless you lost some of them in a tragic accident - my guess is that you are holding five in each hand - that is if you count your thumbs as fingers when you did your counting - but knowing how you like to use new math - you might be holding 15 or 16 or 24!!!

    How close did I come???

    Abby,

You are a unique young lady - for a 15 year old to be up this late.

When our children (2 girls now 30 and one son now 27) were your age they were in bed long before this time of night.

But - keep up the posts - I enjoy them!!!

Dan, FFA stands for — FFA. Its acronymic qualities were stripped a few years ago when the national organization realized it had few future farmers but quite a few people interested in agribusiness and agricultural technology.

Oooh, Blackbird! You're missing out on all the fun. Hop on your John Deere and head up to the wheat harvest. There are more John Deeres and International Harvesters than you can shake a stick at.

And they're not those pygmies; they're cutting huge swaths of grain, whirring through the stalks like a hot knife through lard.

But hurry. As soon as it dries up they'll be heading north into Yankee country, far away from chicken-fried steaks and okra.

BTW: Did you notice somebody alleged you say weird things? Your Massey-Ferguson Super Inducing Transmogrification Unit must be putting it in code for your next secret mission.

Rumor has it that another delivery of flowers has arrived ...

    rsr,

Thank you for the update on FFA - it has been some time since I even thought about that organization.

I remember the "farm" boys wearing their blue jackets with great pride. Although I live in a farm area - more and more farmers, especially their children are leaving the farm business. It's hard work and it doesn't pay very well. In my area - there are a number of Amish who are farmers - but almost all of them do something besides farming in order to support their families.

rsr, caped crusader for the advancement of Blackbird and company!!

Who are the allege-ers?? Code?? Why, I ought to know by now that codes mean nothin' to Blackbird!! I copied a blueprint and scamatics for the old Enigma machine and improved it--put modern transistors in place of the old tubes--and plugged it in and was able to cipher out what my deacon's were plannin' in the next deacon's meeting--and its over a month away!! Blackbird's machine can pick up thoughts and wishes a whole month in advance!! Watch this:

I'm gonna set the dials of my Enigma #2 machine to June 26, 2003! OK! Its set! Now all I have to do is push the little black button there--and in a minute or two we can "get in" on the party in advance---HEY!! This is great! We're not even there yet and I can hear myself talkin'! I know what I'm gonna say before I say it!

Wait a minute! Hold on! I'm pickin' up chatter!! Garb! I'm gonna try to clear it up! I'll twist this clearin' upper knob here--yes, that's better! Now, that's it!! Ladies, keep talkin'! Its all recorded!!

Its my greatest invention yet!! I will take bribes to keep silent, though!!

    Your buddy,
    Blackbird

    blackbird,

You better patent the machine - or the ladies will try to get it away from you.

I think you would probably fall for any plea they might make - you probably still have some of the effects of the laughing gas plaguing you.

It does seem that you fell for 24/26 story of sorts.

Good night all - hope to check in sometime tomorrow!!
