How the mighty have fallen...
My diet has taken some serious damage from family get-togethers and church dinners. But, like everything else in life, I had a choice and chose wrong...very, very wrong...over and over and over again...
Oh well, I don't really mind starting over again. Induction is pretty easy for me (I'm a huge carnivore), but I am going to wait until after Christmas. If I'm going to lose weight, I have to be willing, and I know I won't be at my company Christmas party or our family Christmas dinner.
I am very glad to hear all the good news from so many. I hope to soon be posting my own.
Here is a recipe that my wife came up with. It is Induction friendly (if you don't go nuts with the tomatoes), so try it and enjoy...
Crumble and brown 1 pound ground beef . Drain well.
Chop 1/2 head cabbage (I usually use a whole head, but I love cabbage). Throw on top of ground beef.
Dump 1 can diced tomatoes on top of cabbage. Cover and let it simmer until cabbage is tender.
Top with shredded cheese when done.
(We sometimes add onions with the ground beef, or use salsa instead of tomatoes, add some sausage in with the ground beef, use varios spices, whatever)
Hope you like it!
In Christ,
Trotter
