    Since almost every thread on almost any topic seems to be at-risk of being derailed by one or two - abortion-all-the-time-on-every-topic devotees.

    Here it is

    If you derail every thread over to the abortion topic - does that help Satan or not?? is that your question?

    May I suggest that you direct your agenda to a thread like this one - that is actually on your topic?

    ========================================================== fine lets do it.

    How many catholic politicians promoting the pro-abortion democrat platform would we have to vote against to stop abortion?

    Answer: all of them

    Can we get more Catholics to join in that cause??

    Why not get this thing "at the root"? stop it at the core ... drain the swamp and all of it will go away.

    Question: if we add up all the Protestants killed by Catholics during the dark ages - (50 million according to Benedict?) and add all babies aborted in the United States as a result of pro-abortion Catholic democrat politicians making sure that can happen as often as people like... how many lives would that be??

    ======================================================
    Question: If all Catholic justices on the Supreme Court had voted against the LGBT agenda - would we still have it?

    Answer: no.

    ============================

    It is for these reasons and a host of others that I prefer not to discuss the abortion topic with Catholic members here. I am puzzled as to why they keep wanting this to com up as if we are doing them a favor by discussing it, when we would not even have this issue if all Catholic politicians voted against it.

    You have not answered my simple question. You keep tap-dancing around it. You slither and squirm, dodge and dodge.

    Like deer in headlights, you fear my question because it doesn't promote satanic agenda of murder the human sacrifice of your Moloch god.

    If I support abortion does that help Satan or not?

    Is abortion MURDER, EVIL AND WRONG?

    I bet if I asked you if its wrong to worship God on sunday, you would have hopped up and down "YES IT IS WRONG".

    But when I ask about abortion YOU GO STEALTH MODE.

    All I want to hear is abortion the murder of children a sin?

    You are embarrassed by the fact that YOU SUPPORT ABORTION.

    What in the world is this post about??

    It seems to be a complaint against those who post against the murder of babies in the womb.

    Well I volunteer to be put on the list of those who promote the protection of innocent life anytime, anywhere!

    Thank you very much.

    You rationalize Adventist hospitals providing abortion to women who ask for it stating: ' Adventists hospitals are not run by. SDA pastors. Well, cultural Catholic( Catholic in name only in name only ) politicians do not make Catholic Church doctrine (which officially takes the biblical view) of being solidly anti-abortion. Your official SDA website makes it clear your SDA is pro-choice (pro-abortion. That is EViL, Bob. An EVIL you refuse to condemn. Time to face the facts that while your SDA doctors are hacking up and murdering babies in the womb in Adventist hospitals today, you will still agree with that choice, even though those same hospital refuse to serve porkEven your SDA founders condemned abortion and called it for what it is. Your spineless leadership which is put in place by your. Read your OFFICIAL CHURCH WEBSITE UNTIL IT SINKS IN, BOB. YOU BEONG TO A CHURCH THAT CONDONES AND PRACTICES BABY MURDER. IF YOU ARE AGAINST ABORTION; DO SOMETHING ABOUT. 'When I was attending 'Cal Baptist College (now university) the Loma Linda profs were teaching evolution in the biology classes. I remember YOU stopped posting on the BB did something to try to stop that from being taught. Why no uproar against a church that has become pro-choice;
    Do I really need to quote the Official SDA website that says the ultimate decision on whether.to kill babies rest with the mother of the child.

    Oh, I know! I am just being emotional about SDA hospitals that you want us to believe have no connection with the SDA church.

    Meanwhile, as those Adventists abortion mills are tearing the arms and legs of babies in the womb their Adventist hospital cafeterias are refusing to serve pork. Eating pork is very unhealthy and unbiblical while murdering children is 'an acceptable choice' since the hospital is not 'run by pastors'. Last time I was in the local Adventist hospital the chapel there was full of SDA literature. Of course, according to Bob, this is just a coincidence since these Adventist hospitals have nothing to do with the SDA. I wonder if I were to leave Catholic bible study literature in their chapel how long it would remain there. LOL!!!!

    BTW, Bob, again this year many thousands of anti-abortion protesters from across California marched through downtown San Francisco on Saturday, calling for restrictions on a medical procedure that was legalized more than 40 years ago.

    A massive and diverse crowd of protesters rallied in front of City Hall before marching down Market Street to Justin Herman Plaza for the 10th annual "Walk for Life West Coast." They chanted "Pro Life" and carried signs that read "Defend Life" and "Women deserve better than abortion."

    I saw many, many Baptist groups marching along with Missouri and Wisconsin Synod Lutherans, and representations from just about every denomination including liberal protestants which have members that oppose their official church position of pro-abortion. We often locked arms and in show a show of unity although we were not pretending to agree on doctriness You know who I didn't see there (and I looked because of your claims that many SDA's oppose abortion regardless of the OFFICIAL PRO-CHOICE STATEMENTS FOUND ON YOUR SDA WEBSITE). I didn't see ONE group of Pro-Life SDA's WOW!!! In a denomination that you say represents the fifth largest in the world. Maybe they were on the sidelines selling Veggie-Burgers to the hungry marchers!

    You go ahead and 'spin' you Pro-Choice church and abortion mill hopspitals but EVIL is EVIL and you belong to a church that I hope people flee from when they realize it's own founders called abortion EVIL. You should call it EVIL, but you won't.

    As the early Christian writer Tertullian pointed out, the law of Moses ordered strict penalties for causing an abortion. We read, "If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely Hebrew: "so that her child comes out", but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman’s husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot" (Ex. 21:22–24).

    This applies the lex talionis or "law of retribution" to abortion. The lex talionis establishes the just punishment for an injury (eye for eye, tooth for tooth, life for life, compared to the much greater retributions that had been common before, such as life for eye, life for tooth, lives of the offender’s family for one life).

    The lex talionis would already have been applied to a woman who was injured in a fight. The distinguishing point in this passage is that a pregnant woman is hurt "so that her child comes out"; the child is the focus of the lex talionis in this passage. Aborted babies must have justice, too.

    This is because they, like older children, have souls, even though marred by original sin. David tells us, "Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me" (Ps. 51:5, NIV). Since sinfulness is a spiritual rather than a physical condition, David must have had a spiritual nature from the time of conception.

    The same is shown in James 2:26, which tells us that "the body without the spirit is dead": The soul is the life-principle of the human body. Since from the time of conception the child’s body is alive (as shown by the fact it is growing), the child’s body must already have its spirit.

    But, if SDA hospital's start serving pork in their cafeterias I am betting you, (Bob), will throw a fit to make sure this is stopped, like you did the SDA universities teaching evolution.

    How in the world did you dream that one up??

    Apparently I need to start "another" thread on the subject of reading and critical thinking.

    ======================== here is the OP "again"

    show us where "promoting the murder of babies in the womb"
    Or "opposing any opposition to abortion" is anywhere in the OP.

    Roe V Wade - 100% of the Catholic Supreme court justice vote -- was "pro Abortion"

    100% of the Supreme Court justices voting against Roe V Wade -- were not Catholic

    This is a great topic that you guys have demanded. Glad it is coming out to your expectations... it certainly is what I thought it would be.

    ======================

    If 100% of the Adventists on the Supreme Court voted against abortion - it would change nothing.

    If 90% of the Catholics on the Supreme Court voted against abortion in America - it would end.

    if 80% of Catholics in Congress , in the U.S. Senate voted against abortion we would have a law against abortion on demand.

    So then what should we expect to see in BaptistBoard?

    Why of course - a lot of focus and table pounding about Adventists -- since this is the one avenue that gets us nowhere on the topic.

    So then a lot of excess heat... no light.

    Not a single post responding to the actual content of the OP -- as we all expected.

    This means that the OP segments that "desperately need to be ignored" by "some" will be the "answer" to quite a few of the posts following the OP. As we pretty much knew was going to be the case from the start.

    I did not say that on this thread - but I have pointed this out in the past - it is not an action of the church nor even the clergy what "some hospital administrator" decided to do. But that fact will not solve the issue of abortion in America. To "solve" it we would need all the Catholic justices on SCOTUS to simply "vote against abortion".

    Getting all the Adventists on SCOTUS to do that would not solve anything.

    I don't care if the POPE was the one in the operating table doing the abortions, or if the whole world is FOR IT for that matter.

    I'm coming to you for YOUR ANSWER.

    I want to hear is abortion the murder of children a sin?

    Quit playing around and spit it out.

    Hank, your not catholic, right? We probably disagree with tons of stuff.

    Do you think abortion is a sin? That's not a hard question is it?

    No its not a hard question.
    Yes utilyan, It is a grievous sin, the baby has absolutely no way to defend itself.
    It is the shedding of innocent blood.

    Proverbs 6:
    16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
    17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

    Psalm 106
    37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
    38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

    Thank you, Sir!

    I wanted to make sure I'm not out of bounds here. I'm happy you answered cause if you didn't I think the twilight zone music theme would start playing.

    I wonder what kind of fear and terrorism Bob is under to squirm, dodge and avoid an easy question. We need to keep him in our prayers.
