I think I am FINALLY shaking off this cold/flu. Starting to feel a little restless ;) .

Glad to hear you are feeling better Roger.
It is very quiet in here these days. Where is everyone? -
I've still been quite busy - another staff member was on hols this week so have been in to my secular teaching job a bit more.

Good morning!
All "ascited" here! Getting ready to go to the airport and collect Matt, Michelle, and Morgann. They are coming for the entire month!
(ascited is Morgann's pronounciation ;) ) -
Roger,
I hope you are all having a good time with the family over for Christmas.
It is essay time again so I will look in when I can. Essays are now 4,500 words instead of 2,000 words.
Blessings to you all
Sheila -
Have been praying for you and your essays Sheila!
-
Thank you Roger. It is much appreciated. :

Been a busy week here for us. A lot of catching up with Matt and Michelle and our Kids Klub parents night was last night.

Hi folks,
I haven't troubled posting anywhere lately. I haven't been terriby busy, just not into the computer much.
We have snow on the ground, but not loads, and it is supposed to go mild and rain, so even that might be gone soon. It is cold though.
I installed my new Norton program and it messed up my Java and that threw off a number of programs. Now I am waiting for a new disk with the Java program. Whatever happened to the simple computer? I don't want to be a computer genius!
Cheers,
Jim -
understand the computer bit - it just seems to get complicateder and complicateder

Well, Roger, we had another weather turn about here and it snowed in the night whilst the temperature dipped to -14...just when the chap is coming to change the oil in all my machinery and tune the engines for both storage and winter use.
Some shops are selling a portable garage of metal framing and plastic overlay like a tent. I am going in to purchase one and then he can work under cover...they will store two vehicles.
Cheers,
Jim -
That portable garage sounds like a great idea.
One thing I know for sure - having a two year old around the house changes things ! Our Morgann is a lovely girl and we are enjoying the visit, but she is as "spirited" as her daddy was ! -
Here it is January 1st. A New Year and a fresh start. May we all consider this freshness as we think on Him.
I wish everyone new blessings in this New Year, and may our Lord richly bless each and every one.
Cheers,
Jim -
Hello to all my "Tea Room" friends.
I've been busy and absent from BB for a time - except for reading and sometimes answering the alert emails that mods get.
I now have DSL which makes my machine work faster.
Sheila - lovely Christmas card - thanks!
Jim - are you keeping warm up there in cold Canada?
C4K - I read your notes that you email - keep on keeping on for the Lord.
Dan -
Well look who is really alive and well.....Good to see you Dan.
There was a cold front that came over from NY and we faced -16c this morning. I don't mind the cold or the snow, but we have had nothing but ice all over the place..............that is hard to take.
Mary went to Florida for Christmas...she is the smarter half, I suppose.
Trust you had a lovely Christmas (can I say that?) and wishing you God's best this new year.
Cheers,
Jim -
Hello all!
Just back from a little mini-break that was a gift from a friend. We went to Galway and just relaxed. We also drove up to see the village where John Wayne's The Quiet Man was filmed.
Good to see you around Dan! -
How is everyone we had a fundraiser today and it actually cost us money needless to say it was still a blessing I managed to pass out some tracts from www.av1611.org and some info on the church. Got the word out about us being a drop off point for The Salvation Army and The Good Will. Sat in my van a sang hymn's cried, prayed, shouted all in my van by myself just me and God it was great.
Matthew 22 is what I will probably preach on in the morning
