Just because it is here and no one is there either.....and I am bored..
Cheers,
Jim -
I would really like to see a lot of these forums limited to three or five pages maximum..Perhaps then it wouldn't be pete and repeat..over and over and over again.
Cheers,
Jim -
Just wanted to play with my yoyo. Everything else has become so mundane and boring. Where have some of these folk come from?
Cheers,
Jim -
Jim,
It's looking a whole lot like you are talking to yourself here ;)
Bitsy -
Jim isn't talking to himself. The audience is waiting for intermission to applaud.

intermission
Sorry, I don't have any pre-written lectures to copy in here............*grin*
Cheers,
Jim -
lol, Jim. we'll wait......
-
I'll keep clapping ;)
Does it have to be intermission?
And, Jim, thanks for not posting the long lectures!
-
MCDirector,
Your image is so pleasing to the eye, and your facial expression exudes brilliance.
You remind me of a member of one of my churches. When she borrowed a book, I got it back with notes everywhere...my most treasured book!
Cheers,
Jim -
I am actually here to listen to the philosophical thoughts of wisdom that is coming from the pulpit. Also, passing offering plate to Bitsy so she can fill it since no one else is here. -
Awww Jim!
*blushing* Thank you.
I'm an avid reader -- and I write all over them too. I think I learned that from Dr. Sire . . .
Bitsy -
OK SFIC,
I've got my purse open and I'm giving generously because my son is preaching tonight.
Bitsy,
Pastor Brandon's Mom :D -
Sorry, I don't preach much anymore. Just offer a word or two here and there and then back off. One must learn something with age.
You kow the old saying: "Convince a fool against his will and you just have a convinced fool"
Cheers,
Jim -
You mean the preaching preacher gets the offering plate? Now you tell me...lol
Cheers,
Jim -
Well, I figured here, for cyber sermons and lectures, we could make up our own rules -- giving, preaching, intermission :D
-
I did have an intermission in church once. The parsonage was visible from the pulpit and I used to put lunch in the oven before coming to church. I looked out the window and saw the smoke coming out of the window. I knew it wasn't incense, so announced a hymn and ran over to shut the cooker off...ran back and picked up where I left off.....
I was still single in those days..sort of..wife was still in England.
Cheers,
Jim -
at least ya put the fire out and was back to preach yer sermon.
-
Bro. Jim,that could've been bad . . . . .
