I've always wondered why Jim blames his cold weather on NY!!!

Usually when we get cold weather - it comes down from the polar regions of Northern Canada - and chills me to the bone.

Roger - glad you all had a little time of relaxation and refreshment.

I hope to take the month of February off. I need to take over a month's time off before March 31 - or I'll lose the time - don't want to do that!

Dan - ready to veg out myself - but I want to be warm when I do it!

I have to get back in the saddle. Having the family home for Christmas (most of December) then our mini-break has given me a bad case of "holiday lag" ;) .

Roger, I know how you feel. I hope you get back into the swing of things soon.

The snow that was forecast came as rain instead. Thank goodness. I really wasn't looking forward to having snow.

It is good to see Dan posting here again. Welcome back Dan.

    Blessings

    Sheila

Afternoon all - the cold is gone, being replaced by dark and wet.

I had a good day today "back in the saddle." Got a lot accomplished and even got started on Sunday's message.

Our son Caleb (18) is having a wonderful opportunity to witness to a young woman named Lynn. She came to Bible study last night and when they got to work today she asked Caleb just how to be saved. Please be praying for Caleb and for Lynn.

I have great news everyone God does still perform miricles this day and age.

    I'll explain.

I was in the US Army for 4 years but I believed I was on non-pay status for the last year and 1/2 or so I thought apparantly they paid me and the way I found out is the IRS said I owe them 5k in taxes so I did me some research and I am about to call the bank where they say the money is at and if its there I am donating it to the church. Just thought I would share this good news with everyone.

It was still a nice surprise finding out you had been paid. I hope you get it all sorted out soon.

I know Gods timing is always perfect it can seem slow at times just pray that I would allow God to work in my life to His will and not my own. God knows my needs please pray for True christ Ministries, my family we are its only members. Pray that Gods will be done in our lives, hearts, and homes.

Every ministry starts with one. God gives the increase in His own time. Just be faithful step by step.

    Cheers, and God bless,

The definition fits perfectly with what we believe and how we wish to be viewed by the public.

I am not sure that any title completely delineates what a church is. Who you become in the community speaks louder.

    All the best.

    Hello to you all.

We have snowdrops and crocuses in flower in the garden. It is good to see some colour out there amid all the bleak winter greyness.

Rob says there is some signs of life on the forsythia, which is usually a welcome blaze of colour in the spring.

Rob has been keeping busy ( and fit) by sawing logs for the woodburner. Now he has to chop them up. :D

I am looking forward to being able to get into my greenhouse and start sowing seeds, but my greenhouse isn't heated, so I have to wait awhile yet.

    Blessings

    Sheila

    Hello Sheila,
Wish I could say the same here. Afraid we won't see the colour for a few months yet. I just wish we had snow instead of rain. I can remove snow, but can only slip and slide on the ice from the rain.

It rained all night and it was miserable this morning just trying to walk to vehicles, let alone drive them anywhere.

Still, God knows best, and after the long dry summer last year, we sure need the rain just to replenish the wells......and the soil.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Hello Jim

I don't think we in England have not had much rain this winter. Not as much as we usually have anyway. I know you like to keep busy and that you have your books to help while away the long winter days. I tend to look on rainy days as an ideal opportunity to sit and read because I won't be doing quite so much reading during the summer months because I will want to be out in the garden. I even read in the greenhouse!! :D

    Blessings

    Sheila

    Hi Sheila,

My greenhouse is empty and has been the last couple of years. Use it for storage now.

I am waiting patiently for some decent topics in this forum. Meanwhile, not much to either read or post to....

I just may have to take up gardening again and scrap the computer...lol

    Cheers,

    Jim
