Seems to me that the drama is on both sides. Calling a vote for McCain 'bad judgement' or 'poor judgement' should count.

We really won't know if it was good or bad judgement for at least a couple of years, will we?

Ok, this is just plain silly.

This election showed that America is very much not dead.

What we had was an election that resulted in a peaceful transfer of power from one political party to another.

The wonder of our system is that it did not involve a violent revolution.

It did not involve milita in the streets holding down the people to install a new government.

We had a peaceful transition of power... that is America.

There will be future elections.

Eventually the pendulum will swing the other way.

In the mean time chill.

Conservatives are supposed to be self reliant and self determined.

No matter what changes are made in taxes or the economy I know that my family will be fine. They will be fine because I will see that they are. I don't rely upon the government - not the Republicans or the Democrats - to care for my family. That is my job.

So keep your wits about you. Make good decisions and work hard. Everthing will be just fine in the end.

Agreed, btw, my list in response to C4K's question about who killed America was meant as a joke in response to his saying the he "would play."

Every state that had gay marriage on the ballot voted to ban it. Even in California, and two enviro-nazi bills also went down in flames, in the same state.

America ain't dead, it just smells funny......I would say conservatism definitely is not dead.

And in Arkansas we voted to ban any unwed couple, heterosexual or homosexual, from being involved in foster care of children under 18 years of age. I voted for this ban. :thumbs:

THE CHURCH...

We failed to be the Salt... We failed to resist evil even when there was no real effort involved, much less risk.

We kept silent when we should have been screaming...

We chose 501C3's instead of our God Given responsibility to be the stop gap against evil.

Sorry... I talked to too many disinterested don't get involved (false) shepherds...

And, I am really sick ay heart...

The margin was so close...

If only, if only, the church had stood up and voted their resistance to (supporters of) evil...
