Well, that is most likely particular to that church - not to all reformed Baptist churches. I've seen others that have children's programs, youth programs, contemporary worship and all.

Based on what I saw at the top o the website, the author is a Reformed Baptist and is trying to be funny. He specifically calls the list "tongue-in-cheek" so I don't believe it's meant to be taken seriously.

In other words..fellowship time should be interactive centered around the word of God...building each other up in the faith. This is how I believe the proper observance of the Lord's Day should be.....positive, interactive, meeting needs, with a bible centered approach.
Not a gloomy, legalistic, rigid, devoid of the Spirit thing.....But rather a delight! -

There are at least 30.....this is what a local body should be about....we get to minister to those the Lord brings our way....what a joy.....sometimes challenges or trials come , but they are sent by God also.
That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

Are you really a baptist? You appear to be Catholic.

I have seen some unique openings to another thread to degenerate to a Calvin-free will debate, but this takes the cake. Ok everybody, make about ten more posts, then each side can start calling the other side names. That is because each side is Biblically correct, and they can prove it with their handy dandy pet verses, or their opinion of them.
By the way, elder rule vs congregational rule has nothing to do with being Reformed. There is little if any evidence of a pluraltiy of elders in many of the local churches in the New Testement. I grew up in a conservative Presbyterian church, and elder rule becomes elder worship. They are usually no more spiritually mature than the average church member, and are elected on social status.
What does having or not having an invitation have to do with a reformed church? It seems to me it has more to do with laziness and a lot of people wanting to get to their favorite restaurant before the Catholics get out of church.
Also, worship on Sunday, commitment to Christ before family, and the number of programs has nothing to do with reformed, which is based on the grace and sovereignty of God. Does he mean a non reformed church does not worship on Sunday and they are not committed to Christ?
If one is going to be reformed, be reformed, and stop with all the nonsense. Well over half of the ten points have no relationship to the difference in the reformed church. The author is either creating differences that do not exist to fill up his page, a strawman in a sense, or, he has no idea what he is talking about. -
Failure to bring the Gospel to a lost world has nothing to do with Scripture or doctrine. It has a lot to do with laziness.

The timiing or the extending of time after salvation for baptism has nothing to do with being reformed. It has to do with the Holy Spirit working in the new believer. Reformed or not, no one has any right to put expectations on the timing, either saying it is too quck or too long.
