    Oh come on…. The mandates create situations that are shame &blame. So even if the option is to get tested on a weekly basis, the pressure brought to bare on the individual is tremendous. And if this is not considered, then it’s a grievous oversight!

    I have not read about Merck's vaccine. But yes, I agree we live in a capitalistic nation. That does not mean the products are bad.

    It is interesting that Merck stood to make millions on ivermectin but insisted cautioned against using it for covid.

    In fact they cautioned against improper dosing of their animal vaccine, not their human one.

    Merck also backed out of the present vaccine production and distribution…again for other reasons not completely clear…. I’m assuming much including economics.

    Merck produces Ivermectin for people. Their warning is about using it in people for people covid.

    Now I will grant this is also because it has never been studied for use in situations like covid.....which brings up another interesting point.

    Those complaining about Operation Warp Speed cutting the red tape and funding issues to give us vaccines (that have been studied) are taking unstudied medications at unrecommended doses for a virus the medication is not intended to treat.

    Kinda funny, if you think about it.

    I doubt it. Most Americans are vaccinated (and most of FL is vaccinated).

    It is just the minority trying to force their will on the majority - trying to move from capitalism to socialism by having private companies controlled by the people rather than the business owners.

    No it’s not, not funny at all. I would consider it desperate attempt to eradicate covid the fast & dirty way. I’ve learned a long time ago, that Slow is smooth & smooth is fast. Was that part of my military rifleman training?

    I continue to wonder why health care professionals would send people who tested positive for Covid home for two to three weeks, knowing full well that if and when it developed into full Covid (a full chest infection) it would probably kill the patient. Should I consider them heroes for allowing needless death to many who would be alive today had they had immediate medical attention?

    I know. But you are allowing the government to make decisions for you.

    You would take ivermectin as long as the government said not to, but if the government says you need to you wouldn't. Your decisions have nothing to do with the medication itself but with a desire to rebel against a government.

    The operative term here is”tried to make me” and that is a rejection of our rights and liberties… ie a totalitarian government. We have relatives in our family who fought and died to protect the rights of future generations so that would not happen. So we today have both the right and indeed the obligation to question any government attempting to strip us of those rights.

    Now you are attacking the unvaccinated. This is inappropriate. It is not a foolish decision to not get vaccinated. Some of us make that as an informed decision and a risk we are willing to take. I am unvaccinated. Getting Covid was a risk I was willing to take. I got it. I survived. I do not regret not getting the vaccine.

    But nobody is being forced to take a vaccine (and nobody is being coerced....anymore than anti-vaxers are coercing people).

    The only move towards socialism is the anti-vaxers who demand an end to owners controlling the interest of their companies. That is approaching socialism.

    What would you do if you had a business and a group of people demanded you let them determine your requirements? What would you do if you were a business owner and a group of employees refused to follow your policies?
