So we should work eons and then rest for an eon? That doesn't make a lot of sense. And how many eons do you know of that last for an evening and a morning?

Why is that? Why wouldn't you believe that man and dinosaurs existed at the same time?

    It's a 3 letter word... Sin

I must need my head examined, because Job describes dinosaurs in chap. 40.

But that is what I get for believing the Bible..

    Yeah, are you INSANE ?

But I've yet to hear a great argument for ignoring scripture.

It's clear God creates with age built in. Adam was created a full man, probably in his thirties...and was one day old. Trees were created fully grown, with rings probably upwards of hundreds of years old...and they were a day old. Why couldn't the earth be 1 billion years old on day one? Time is nothing more than a measurement, and God supercedes any measurement.

Do we know there were growth rings in the very first trees?

A BBC report on the Creation Museum isn't what i would call unbiased and done without a premeditated disagreement going in.
And for the record, children are discounted and pastors and their wives can get in free...and we took full advantage of that for our family!

Because when we believe in evolution, there is no difference between us and animals. Since we are here by pure chance, no one is important. We are the center of the universe and not God.

Yes we do, because that is a characteristic of a tree. That's like saying "Do we know Adam had a nose"?

It is characteristic of a tree because trees take years to grow and go through different stages. If as you suggested it did not go thru those stages why would there be rings.

Men also don't become men without years of growth...yet we know Adam was created a man. Do you beleive all animal and plant life were formed in infant / sapling state?

Why wouldn't he? That's a characteristic of a human, is it not?

Belly buttons are formed from the umbilical cord... since Adam didn't have a momma.. no cord.. no cord... no belly button...

Couldn't you imagine Adam and Eve freakin out when their firstborn was born!

Eve: "Adam, Adam, come quick....What's that stickin out of his belly!!!???"

    Then a few weeks later...

"Adam, Adam... IT FELL OFF!, AND HE HAS A HOLE THERE!!!"

Oh to be able to take a time machine back and look around.

I would say Adam and Eve were formed via unique circumstances. Not too many humans are formed from dirt and a ribs :D

This is from the OP quote. It makes no sense. It's like saying that the letters I am typing now cannot be equated with my words. Well, they are not technically the words in my head or coming out of my mouth (assuming I am saying all this aloud, which I'm not), but they are the words in written form. That is what God's word is.

Not true. When my husband gets home from work everyday, you'd swear he'd been formed from dirt!
