We both checked our blood sugar before supper - me 103 [real good] - her 113. -- Then I took her out to supper!!! ;) )

(I hear you Dan. My mother was diabetic and lived with me so I learned to cook for her. We would ALL be better off if we stuck to a diabetic diet)

Anyone besides me doing the 'low-carb' diet?

 

I try to stay (unsuccessfully) away from carbs - my blood sugar is usually much lower when I eat protein.

(My dad was a diabetic - mom took better care of him than she did herself.)

But carbs taste so gooooooooooooooood!!!

Sue - try to remember on this thread we need an answer - not another question!!! (Do I get another milkshake?)
