One day, I would like to host a BB breakfast - a real one, not a fantasy one at some diner in the center of the USA (or in my breakfast room ;) ) . . .
that would be a great morning!
What would you like for breakfast?

We tried several times to have a BB reunion once a year, but nothing ever came of it because we live all over and everyone wanted it in their home state. LOL
Maybe we could divide up into several smaller reunions...one in the central states, southern states, northern states, etc.
That would be great!!!
I'd like one in IL please. LOL -
Rob and I have been so blessed to meet some people from BB. We are hoping to meet at least one other member this year if Rob is allowed to travel.
I think a get together of some kind would be great!
Blessings

I forgot to say that grits and pancakes sound really good. We really like cheese grits too! :wavey:

I'll start with a big steaming bowl of grits with a puddle of melted butter sitting on top. Fry up and egg or three - keep the yokes runny - and slide them right on top of the grits. Sprinkle a mound of fresh grated Romano cheese over the egg, salt and pepper to taste and get to eating. That's Monday
Did you ever have Yankee grits? Skip the egg and cheese and pour yourself some genuine maple syrup on your grits. That would be Tuesday.
Wednesday is just a few hours away. That means it's Savory Grits Day. Cook the grits in beef stock with some sauteed onions and garlic, a dash of oregano and a spoon.
Thursday? No grits. It would be unYankee-like to eat grits every day. -
I voted for all of them in any combination and then I started looking through the responses.
And padre, I've never had grits and never planned to, but your descriptions are starting to make me re-think my position about them. -
I LOVE PORRIDGE ..................
and I have porridge made with water and salt (like my Scottish ancestors )
But since trying grits (courtesy of a few dear friends on BB - I have failed to locate a store that sells them over here )......... I LOVE GRITS AS WELL, haven`t tried any of the fancy recipies for grits, yet, I make it like porridge and have milk and sugar on it. I will make it with cheese one day, and there`s some lovely sounding biscuit recipies using grits too.
My husband likes bacon, eggs, beans or tinned tomatoes fried bread and mushrooms......followed by thick buttered toast and home made marmalade...........and two cups of strong tea.
eeeeew I can`t eat fried breakfast.
