Here's what the Wall Street Journal newspaper speculates about this:

They were at a Baptist church today. I hope they were driven by the Holy Ghost to salvation.

A lot of president's don't. It is tough on the church cause they cause a lot or problems with security and such.

I hope you're wrong and the Obama's prove to be more spiritual than given credit for. He said he believed in Christ but now he has left the Church where he converted. Now we will see if it was his love for Christ that converted him or was it his love for the Church and pastor Wright.

He will worship where ever it is convenient and politically expedient like most presidents. BTW Reagan rarely went to church.

I hope they go somewhere for the sake of their children. And by somewhere - I do mean biblically sound. I can't imagine how tough it is all around, but it's not just Mr. and Mrs. Obama in the mix.

A nice and fair statement.
A side note, a lot of people believe in Jesus, I spent 27 years believing in Him because I was taught to believe in Him,I
believed He was real and He really died and was resurected. But I wasn't saved until I was 27. Head knowledge never equals heart knowledge.
But I know you know this.
As I said, just a side note.

==If I were president, and lets all stop and say a prayer of thanksgiving that I am not, I don't think I would attend church while in office. As C4K points out, the security issues are just too much for most local churches to be able to deal with. I would watch Charles Stanley and have regular visits with my personal pastor and deacons (etc).

Unfortunately, he doesn't have very solid understanding of who Jesus is - enough so that I seriously question if he's truly saved or not.
He certainly believes that there are other ways to heaven.

Perhaps they will rebuild the Obama Temple that was erected for his nomination acceptance speech.

Okay - I will.
Do you still think he is going to use a Koran tomorrow?

Yep.
We may not hear about it as it may not be covered by the national news media, but I still do believe there will be one there besides the Lincoln Bible.

Good cover - even if nobody knows about it it will still be a fact :) cause there are some folks who want it to be true.
Nice way to hedge the bet you made weeks ago.
So I take it you will never admit you were wrong about:
The birth cert
The Koran
the place of worship

I believe just about every man who has sat in the oval office has come to grips with there being a power greater than he. If Obama holds true to this belief, he will fall back on the only God he knows even if he knows God in name alone. Knowing and trusting God in name alone is a good start to believing and being saved since salvation is by faith and not in how well we have mastered scripture or theological views.
He is inheriting two wars where men and women are dieing on his command. A majority of this nation is hoping he has the wisdom to right our economics wrongs if only by slowing the downward spiral. He will have enormous responsibilities and expectations being placed on him which generally make a man bow on his knee's and call on the name of the Lord. And I believe if He calls on Him with a sincere heart he shall be saved.

Do you feel the new conspiracy coming on? Obama had a Koran in his back pocket or there was a Koran laying in the open Bible? Not that it really matters since "so help me God" and placing a hand on the Bible is not part of the constitutional requirements of taking the oath of office.

I am not wrong about the BC, his constitutionaly has never been proven.
The Koran and place or worship, wait and see. I will be the first to admit it if I am wrong. Sorry you feel impelled to denigrate my honesty and integrity on this board. Scoff all you want to, it doesn't matter what you personally think of me. Sorry, I just can't rally around the Obama throne.
