Declaring oneself to be a Christian does not make you a member of God's family.
Therefore their eternal judgement is punishment, whereas the child of God's eternal state is to dwell with Christ heaven.
Analyzing more deeply the verse above that says: As in the days of Noah were, is also now in the coming of JESUS, it means that as in the days that were BEFORE the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, and knew not that the door of the Ark WAS SHUT, and the flood came and took them all away; So, also now in the coming of the LORD Jesus, the door is already shut before His coming, as the door of the Ark that God shut it before the flood, many will seek to enter in, and shall not be able, and then many many will perish, and then will be revealed who is in and who is out of the Kingdom of God as JESUS said: Luke 20:v.35-36.
I didn't ask you about those who profess Christ with the lips, but in works ( actions ) they deny Him ( Titus 1:16 ),
I asked you about born again believers, who can never die ( John 5:24, John 11:25-26 ), spiritually.
Why do not you fight against the false doctrines by the Word of God? The true believers know that Revelation 16:v.13-16 (among others) bring us the origin of false doctrines, as follow:
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the MOUTH of the Dragon, and out of the MOUTH of the Beast, and out of the MOUTH of the false prophet (false preachers of the Word of God,actually the TAIL of the red Dragon)
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
There will be a terrible battle, but: 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
It troubles me that you would ask a question that is so clearly answered in scripture.
2Ti 4:8 KJV - Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
If someone loves Him, they will keep His commandments.
If they do not, they will not.
See my note below.
As for the Law, it was primarily written as the schoolmaster to bring God's children to the realization that they cannot keep the Law, in and of themselves, and that they need a Saviour.
Note:
For the believer in Jesus Christ, it takes the power of the Holy Spirit living through someone, to keep those commandments.
Even as believers, we cannot keep them because of the internal war going on between our flesh and spirit.
Is the emphasis on "what commandments" or on "have to keep".
You have to always do the one that you cannot do:
"And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest"
25 When once the Master of the house is risen up, and hath SHUT to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are;
King James passage is quoted below.
What is the source of your quote above???
Mat 13:25 KJV - But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Mat 13:26 KJV - But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
Mat 13:27 KJV - So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
To obey God we need to rightly divide His word . For some they will say they are obeying everything Jesus taught . This is an error,
because not everything Jesus spoke was towards gentiles in 2020 .
If you rightly divide God’s Word, then there is another commandment that you cannot do.
Which command are you not obeying?
That is the point.
You did ask which command.
I.m not seeing your point . My point is about rightly dividing the Word . I notice a lot of Christians quoting wildly out of the Gospels for example with little reguard to who Jesus is speaking to .
