And has been since the Fall of Man. I don't see why you and poncho act like it's something new.

I'm none to fond of the formula that has and is being used to reduce our standing in the international community as well as gutting our industry, putting us into endless debt, flooding our borders with illegal immigrants, "harmonizing" America with the rest of the world with regulations from unelected "world bodies" with power above and beyond our own congress with our congress' blessings, and to bring a militarized global police state to power complete with biometrics and tracking chips, no warrant searches, indefinate incarserations with no chance of due process, land grabbing, to name a few.
That formula is problem reaction solution. This has worked great for the globalists whilst they still had complete control of the information we base our opinons on through their ownership and manipulation of the mass media. The internet really put a kink in their hose. That's why the United Nations wants control of it. The US is saying no for now, but we should all look back on George Bush putting up a brave face for the American news consumers in his glorious stand against the irrelevant UN, while sending the Mrs. to England to sign us back into the totally un-American UNESCO.

Thank you, poncho. I'm sick of all of it, including the Pollyana drivel.
Iraq will never be a true democracy and no matter when we get out, they will be killing each other, whether we get out tomorrow or 20 years from now. They ain't got it in 'em, those Muslim Arabs, to live in peace with anyone, not even each other. We should have just nuked the place. -
Nuking the place wouldn't generate the same profits for the globalists or our own military industrial complex LE, a long drawn out war in the Middle East to gain control of Eurasia away from Russian and Chinese influence is really the only way to go. I mean we had one of the top second line globalists already tell us what the plan is.
Actually looking at it from their point of view, civil war in Iraq would be an asset to them. They win by losing. We're the ones footing the bill to build their New World Order after all. They needn't even break a sweat or risk a dollar of their own. -

It is too bad that this kind of prejudice is allowed to stand on the BB from a moderator no less. What a shame.

What's a shame is the Polyanna crowd. I'm not anti-war, just anti-waste of our young men and women and federal treasury on such a hopeless cause. Time will prove I'm right, unfortunately.

Liberals thrive off of class envy and appeals to the "unfairness" inherent in a system that rewards industry and doesn't reward the shiftless and slothful. Whatever the waste in Iraq, it pales in comparison to the waste and fraud resulting from liberal social engineering efforts.
How many millions have liberals earned working for groups that are funded by the very politicians they own?
How about abortion? That is possibly liberalisms biggest venture into profiteering. Tens of millions of babies dead... and many of these deaths funded by the government or groups that directly receive government funding.
How many liberals have lined their pockets due to government statutes requiring union labor?
As far as profiteering of of wars, LBJ's wife owned a construction company that made a fortune building... and rebuilding air strips in SE Asia.
Profiteering? You guys invented it. -
But FTR, most Iraqis aren't Arabs.
BTW, the Japanese didn't have it in 'em either. -
At any rate, I stated above that Arabic Muslims can't live in peace even with each other. The majority of Iraq is Islam and the US has created an official Islamic state at this point, whereas, under Saddam, Iraq was considered a secular state. -
-
Roughly 75% of Iraq's is Arab. 15% are Kurds, 5% are Assyrians, and about 3% are Turkomans. There are also a sizeable population of Armenians and Persians.
Saddam Hussein's goal was to rid Iraq of non-Arabs, evidenced most notably by the extermination of 1 million Kurds. His long-term dream was to see Iraq as the center of a Hitlaresque pan-arab region. -
Reckon that's what put the bur under the globalists saddle then, they don't want any competition to their Hitleresque one world government.
-
Scott may have been thinking of the Iranis, the vast majority of whom are not Arab.

Mar 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Mar 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
Nuff said! -
Thank you, JWP. We can only hope and pray that during this window of opportunity, many of these Muslims find Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour before the blood bath between the Sunnis and Shia begins.
-
I don't think that there will be a blood bath between the Sunnis and the Shiites. I know there are scaremongers saying otherwise but I don't believe the scaremongers
-
Ken, it's not a scaremongerie thingy. If you think for a minute the Shia (majority) aren't waiting until we are out so they can enact full payback for all those years they were brutalized by the Sunni, then you don't understand human nature fueled by a bloodthirsty religion in which each sect wants to have final rule/authority.
We disbanded the Iraqi military when we went in there. They were Sunni/Baathists. They are the minority. Now we have rebuilt the Iraqi military, comprised mainly of Shia.
Why do you think so many Muslims are being killed in attacks? Insurgents? Insurgents are coming in through Syria, (Baathists). Baathists are Sunni. Why do you think the Iraqi police recruits are being blown up by homicide bombers? The majority of police/military recruits are Shia. Who's doing the blowing up? Sunni/Baathists.
Who's being accused of torturing prisoners in the current headlines? Iraqis. (Shia) Who are the prisoners? Sunni/insurgents.
The Shia know this - the muslim countries around the area know it. Why do you think trade agreements are being made/formed with Iran and Iraq? Both are Shiite dominated. They are waiting to issue payback for a lot of past wrongs, just as soon as the US is outta there. Iran doesn't really want to mess with us.
The Kurds don't even consider themselves part of Iraq. They call themselves Kurdistan.
Don't forget, we are arming the Iraqi police force/military with our tax dollar paid for munitions, tanks, planes, (probably ships, too) and lots of ammo, body armour, the latest technology. I've always wondered what is to keep that from being used on us one day, even a few years from now. Right now, we are the "occupiers."
Wait until the occupiers are gone. Iraq is a pot about ready to boil over. I just pray our military men and women aren't caught in the cross hairs. And I hope we can get outta there before the two swords of Islam start to really clash.
