And that is why the country will fall because of the false teaching that leads people to not acknowledge that their sin is sin to be repented of.
the church has aided people in believing that GOP politics is on par with God's truth and righteousness and it's not.

It's not that I don't think it could happen; it's that it hasn't happened--yet.
Second- and third-order effects of this battle are still forthcoming.
In the meantime, as much as we might want to believe otherwise, James is correct: scripture says things *have* to get bad. Doesn't mean we shouldn't speak out against it; but we shouldn't be expecting society to act like they're children of God, especially when they're not. -

Step 1 - go back and read the posts of everyone who commented about what I wrote.
Step 2 - take a real honest look at the agreement with my post
Step 3 - seek God about what I wrote. Seek godly council about it, from some outside of your "amen" corner.
As for you praying for me... I welcome it, and thank you for it.

It will be worse than baking a cake or performing a wedding. These immoral LGBTQ people hate God. I don't know how it will manifest but they are not finished. They want God out of America.

Our western world is too "civilized" to persecute Christians in the normal sense of "persecution." No, we'll legislate, judiciate, and regulate; that's the "civilized" way....

Scary to think what is coming now that pandora's box has been blown wide open -
I think watching the Christians being slaughtered by beheading makes persecution pretty plain to me. We have seen the bulldozers scraping bodies into mass graves of the Holocaust. And even within the body of Christ we have professing "Christians" who believe in compulsion rather than persuasion. In censoring views that differ from their own.

I wonder if the 1+ billion people in India and the heaven knows how many billions of non-Christians in China and well, Russia, the entire Continent of Africa.....are all scratching their heads wondering what in the world is the thinking of these crazed Westerners.
You could separate Christianity entirely from the issue and historical traditional marriage would still remain the same or almost the same.
It isn't merely a "slap in the face" to Christianity, it's a slap in the face to sanity and every socio-historical tradition in the history of the world.
Do the Hindus and Sikhs spend hours in Sunday Services?
Do bushmen in Africa?
Do Buddhists in Tibet and Outer Mongolia?
Do they all inexplicably still know what the definition of "marriage" is? -

Idaho city’s ordinance tells pastors to marry gays or go to jail
Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho, city officials have laid down the law to Christian pastors within their community, telling them bluntly via an ordinance that if they refuse to marry homosexuals, they will face jail time and fines.
The dictate comes on the heels of a legal battle with Donald and Evelyn Knapp, ordained ministers who own the Hitching Post wedding chapel in the city, but who oppose gay marriage, The Daily Caller reported.
“Many have denied that pastors would ever be forced to perform ceremonies that are completely at odds with their faith, but that’s what is happening here — and it’s happened this quickly,” Mr. Tedersco said, The Daily Caller reported.
But the city sees it differently. As far back as May, city officials were insisting that their ordinance is indeed in line with law.
“If you turn away a gay couple, refuse to provide services for them, then in theory you violated our code, and you’re looking at a potential misdemeanor citation,” said Coeur d‘Alene City Attorney Warren Wilson, to KXLY months ago.Click to expand...
But as one has already posted, those in America have not seen what real persecution looks like.
