Lord help us when getting a man elected becomes more important than standing firmly for you.

I believe BG took the page down to show he is voting for Romney this upcoming election. It would be hypocritical to have a web site that declares Romney's religion a cult and still vote for him.
-
So this is the hand we are dealt of our own making this election. Maybe it is better than we deserve. Given the circumstances, you have never given a solution to what a person is suppose to do in the short run. Most think you are an Obama supporter. I give you the benefit of the doubt that you like neither major candidate. As far as third party, Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate, besides having no chance, is for legalizing drugs and prostitution. That is just what we need. Another set of laws that goes against Biblical doctrine.
I have told you the story about me being an elected delegate to the Constitutional Party national convention several times, and how shallow that was.
So I have two questions I will repeat again? One, what have you done the last four years to effect a decent nominee of either party besides post on BB? Two, what else do you expect voters to do in this year 2012?
What good do you think that such threads serve after the primary season is over? -
If you don't mind me saying, if you still think that I was trying to make a point then you are wound up too tightly. -
This isn't about an election. Never has been. This is all about God and how the ones who supposedly follow Him continue to thumb their noses at Him in DISOBEDIENCE because we think our sacrifice of voting for the lesser of two evils or the man who can do less damage to the country or the one whose morals closer align with our own is a sacrifice that honors God.
It isn't and the majority of you KNOW it isn't just like Billy Graham and his staff know this is a very wicked thing that they have done.
Our short run is the same as our long run should be: OBEDIENCE.
And God HAS NOT attempted to divide His House by calling HIS followers to support that which is against Him. That is a construct of men pushing their own wicked desires that are completely focused on what man wants with little or no regard for what God says.
It's the same thing the Church has said for the longest about homosexuals and Muslims and anyone else who has attempted to justify doing wrong regardless of what Scripture says.
Our sacrifice IS NOT better than obedience.
What we are doing is wicked and what Billy Graham's organization did on his website simply highlights how wicked it is, and the degree of wickedness "Christians" will tolerate to get what they want, again, with seemingly no regard for what God says.
Christian OBEDIENCE is the only thing that would effect any real moral shift in this country or in the pool of nominees.
I expect the lost to act like the lost in 2012. I expected God's people to finally take a stand for HIM over our own selfish desires as He once again has given us the perfect opportunity to showcase Him.
Instead we have chosen to showcase the same sort of zeal for this world and the idolatrous things of this world that we are supposed to be preaching against.
It is a very, very wicked thing that we do in 2012.

Until a few days ago, I constantly posted that your purpose in the Romney threads was your moral outrage at his past record and his faith. I have had several clashed with other posters over this. In the last few days however, it has become quite apparant that your threads are not so morally pure, but nothing but a disquised agenda for Obama.
I could understand a moral stance, except that you never gave any solution. In fact, my guess is that you did nothing in the last four years to make a change but post on Baptist Board and other such forums, you know, kind of like a pew sitter in church, that gossips about other people's sin.
If you wanted to support Obama, then be direct about it. Pointing out Romney's flaws and pretending to be as much against Obama had no purpose after the primaries were over.
You act like you have some deep understanding of Mormon doctirne that none of us do. There are people on this board who have studied the Mormon faith in detail, and will still vote for Romney with a full understand of what it means for a Christian to vote for Romney.
If you want to vote for Obama, then vote for Obama, just be honest about it. Try getting out of your arm chair and doing something to change the country we live in. If you want a theocracy, then become a citizen of a theocracy. In this nation, we are run by the Constitution. -
The web site removing Mormonism is much ado about nothing.
And, SN, great post.
As I have stated before, there are Mormons and then there are Mormons, just as there are Baptists and then there are Baptists. Not all Mormons are going to hell and not all Baptists are going to heaven.
BTW, I VOTED for Mitt Romney yesterday, early voting. And I'm glad I voted for him and feel peace about it. He deserves the opportunity to lead this Nation and ANYTHING he does will no doubt be better than the last 4 years of ineptitude, blunders, treason, and corruption. I continue to pray for Mitt Romney's safety and that of his family, especially after reading the tweets by obama supporters threatening to assassinate him. -

Biblical convictions are based in God's word and they DO NOT create conflict with anything else in his word.
And all this talk from many about being convicted to vote for a false god worshiper is a bunch of baloney. The Holy Spirit ain't dividing God's house. Yall might be convicted, but it certainly isn't from God who does not author confusion.
So let me spell it out for you. You've got two anti-Christ candidates. Don't vote for either. Find you a nice alternative to write in.
Now come back and give me all the wonderful reasons why that's a wasted vote.
You continue to feel free to guess however you choose. Like I said, it only takes a few comments from folks for me to know where their discernment in these matters is coming from.
And YOU keep trying to change the country. I'll keep preaching the Gospel.
-
So while you're giving my agenda, why don't you make clear how the majority agenda on this board is to be pro-Romney for everything, and to whine like children when everybody doesn't support his candidacy. -
-
Everyone knows true change comes from the heart, not legislation. If you believe that to be true, then why are you so worried about Romney, and not Obama?
Your threads are so much baloney. -
And why don't you absolutely brilliant people who act like you know everything ever retain information? As I've said before, y'all got the anti-Obama angle covered. Y'all just can't stand that anyone would dare cover the anti-Romney angle "in your house" .

Zaac- You have said many, many times that you are against Romney. You have said that you are against Obama. You have said that we should write in a candidate. You have not said who you do support, other than Christ (who is not running).
You have said that you will not be voting. You may have a Constitutional right to speak, but you have no moral authority to lecture us without actually participating in the election.
(Note: Mr. Angry was accidental. Typing this on my phone and cannot seem to be able to edit it out.) -
