    MMRRPP! WRONG!

What I am denying is the SDA's false interps of some Scriptures, tryint to force them to line up with Mrs. White's garbage.

Now, did I EVER say any od the "law" was ABOLISHED????????

In the past , I've said Jesus FULFILLED, not abolished, the sacrificial requirements of the law. In the same manner, human laws remain "on the books", even if they don't apply to anyone any more. For instance, there's a law in Proctorville, OH prohibiting motorboat racing on the main street in town, although the Ohio River's system of locks & dams have prevented flooding on that street for many years. Thus, the laws of sacrifice remain in Scripture, though they no longer apply.

When I was an infant, I was circumcised. Does that make me subject to having to follow ALL the law? Of course not! It was long before I was saved, same as it was for Paul & the other early Jewish Christians.

And why should I NOT poke fun. sarcasm, & scorn on the SDA ? It's a pseudo/quasi-Christian CULT, "havIng a FORM of godliness while denying its POWER."

Sabbath is a Hebrew word for Holy Day, It actually means rest or intermission
The creation is a reference to rest not day.

The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath

You , SDA and others, makes up laws to keep , it is legalism or faith in ones ability rather than the finished work of Christ

Luke 5:32 - Then He spoke a parable to them: “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. 37 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. 38 But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. 39 And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ”

Then, why does your cult ignore those parts of Scripture that disagree with your quack guru Mrs. White's garbage, such as your "soul sleep" & "annihilationism" foolishness, let alone Paul's writing we are not required to observe the Sabbath, kosher law, etc?

Do you kill homosexuals, other sexual perverts, or adulterers? it's in God's word to do so. Do you kill witches or warlocks? It's in God's word to do so.

How about the woman caught in adultery that was brought before Jesus? Those who brought her tried to remind Him the law says 'Stone her' Now, did Jesus say "Go ahead"? No, He said, "Let he who is without sin cast the 1st stone. Obviously, the only one qualified was Jesus Himself. Did He cast the 1st stone?

Your phony religion bears the marks of a quas-/pseudo-Christian cult: ignoring "inconvenient" Scriptures & trying to make other Scriptures fit the pronouncements of your big kahoona.

The 7th day Sabbath was originally revealed and given to Israel.
Under the Law the Sabbath has not been changed (Matthew 5:19; Matthew 24:20; Romans 3:19; James 2:10).

Under grace, ". . . I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. . . ." -- Galatians 2:21.

And the first day of the week is never a Biblical Sabbath. ". . . One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. . . ." -- Romans 14:5.

Not really brother IoDebar. Here is why...

God's Sabbath is a memorial of CREATION that was made in the creation week

GENESIS 2:1-3 [1], Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
[2], And ON THE SEVENTH DAY God ended his work which he had made; and he RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY from all his work which he had made.
[3], And GOD BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY, and made it HOLY <the 7th day>: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

This Hebrew word for REST of RESTED is the Hebrew "VERB" for doing and is H7673 שָׁבַת shabath (shaw-ɓath') v. means to repose, i.e. to cease from exertion. {used in many implied relations (causative, figurative or specific)}[a primitive root]KJV: (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep Sabbath, suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away.

The HEBREW word for "SHABATH" is the verb form for doing and what it means for "KEEPING SABBATH which is the root word for SHABBATH H7676 שַׁבָּת which is the Hebrew "NOUN" or description of what is being kept and used to describe the SABBATH DAY which God's WORD says is the SEVENTH DAY of the creation week.

SABBATH H7676 שַׁבָּת shabbath (shab-bawth') n-e. 1. intermission, a period of temporary rest.2. (specifically) the Sabbath, the seventh day being the day of rest.[intensive from H7673]KJV: (+ every) Sabbath. Root(s): H7673

Some points to note from the GENESIS 2:1-3.....

v1 God completed creation in 6 days and RESTED on the 7TH DAY
v2 God RESTED on the 7TH DAY
v3 God SET APART the 7TH DAY and made THE 7TH DAY a HOLY DAY
v2 The 7TH DAY is part of the FINISHED WORK of the CREATION WEEK

    Let's now look at God's 4th commandment............

    Exodus 20
    8,
Remember the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day)
9, Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10, But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY>
11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and HALLOWED IT.

Now who did God make the 7th day a Holy day for? Is he making that day a Holy day for himself? Of course NOT God is already Holy. He has made the day for MANKIND as a HOLY DAY.

    Let’s see what Jesus says…………

    Mark 2
    27,
And he said unto them, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN, and not man for the Sabbath.

The Sabbath was made for WHO? The Sabbath was made for MAN. So here we have the God of creation telling us why the 7th Day was made a Holy day. It was made for MANKIND

    STRONGS Greek MAN G444 ἄνθρωποςanthropos (an'-thrō-pos) n.
    1. (literally) man†-visage (i.e. a man-faced being, a man who has visibly come of age).
    2. (concretely, in Hebrew) a clay being (a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female). 3. (generically, in English) a human being. 4. (indefinitely) a certain man (i.e. someone).
[from G435 and ops “the countenance” (from G3700)] KJV: certain, man Root(s): G435, G3700

So the Sabbath was made for Human beings; clay beings (we are made out of the dust); male and female

So God made the 7th day of the week a HOLY day and blessed it for MAN this now ties in very nicely with the 4th commandment (Exodus 20:8-11)

God says that it is a specific day which is the 7TH DAY OF THE WEEK that he has made to be a HOLY DAY. Jesus says it was made Holy in the creation week for mankind. All scriptures connect and are in harmony. Genesis where God made the Day a HOLY DAY; God’s 4th commandment to His people that says to REMEMBER the Sabbath day to KEEP it a HOLY DAY and Jesus stating that the Sabbath was made for MANKIND (Human beings; male and female).

Now if God made the Sabbath for mankind then obviously Adam and Eve had the Sabbath the GREEK Word for MAN G444 ἄνθρωποςanthropos (an'-thrō-pos) n. is a clay being (a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female).

There is only two people made out of clay (dust) and that is Adam and Eve. There was no JEW and no ISRAEL when the SABBATH was made at creation.

Well that is not true brother. We are only saved only by GRACE through faith and not of ourselves it is a gift of God and not by works lest any man should boast *EPHESIANS 2:8-9. OBEDIENCE to God's Word is not how we are saved it is the FRUIT of God's work in us as we BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD by faith. We are all sinners in need of a Saviour and God's salvation to save us from our sins. Salvation is from sin (breaking any one of God’s 10 Commandments). Salvation is not that of the false gospel of "ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED" that teaches we can to continue in sin and still receive God's salvation and his promises *ROMANS 6:1-23; JOHN 8:31-36; 1 JOHN 2:1-4; 1 JOHN 3:3-10. Those who continue in known unrepentant sin do not know God and need to be Born again into the NEW COVENANT promise to love *HEBREWS 8:10-12; ROMANS 13:8-10; JOHN 3:3-8; 1 JOHN 3:3-10. This is God's work in us and a part of the NEW COVENANT promise of a new heart to love *HEBREWS 8:10-12; PHILIPPIANS 2:13. If our faith has no fruit it is dead *JAMES 2:18-20; 26 and our tree will be cast down and thrown into the fire *MATTHEW 3:10; 7:19-20; 13:49-50 and if we sin willfully after we recieve a knowledge of the truth there remains no sacrifice for sin and a fearful looking forward to of the judgment to come *HEBREWS 10:26-39.

Only Gods Word has been provided in this OP. Only God's Word has been presented to you showing why your posts are in error. Yet here you still are Roby denying God's Word with you your words which are not God's Word. If you disagree with anything that has been provided in the OP in post # 2; post # 3; posts # 4; post # 5 and post # 6 linked or in the scriptures provided showing why you are in error in relation to the Sabbath and God's 4th commandment please show why from the scriptures. If you cannot why not believe God's Word? If you cannot then maybe your argument is with God not me. You are free to believe as you wish we as all answer only to God come judgment day.

Does it not worry you that there is not a single scripture in all of God's Word that says God's 4th commandment which is one of God's 10 commandments has now been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day? It should because according to God's Word if we KNOWINGLY break and one of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin.

In times of ignorance when we do not know something is sin God winks at, but when he gives us a knowledge of the truth calls us to believe and follow his Word *ACTS 17:30-31. If after we receive a knowledge of the truth and turn away from the truth of God's Word their remains no more sacrifice for sin but a fearful looking forward to of the judgment to come because those doing so are tredding the son of God underfoot and doing despite to the Spirit of God and counting the blood of the covenant an unholy thing by continuing in sin *HEBREWS 10:26-39.

For the very same reasons that are given in the very post you are quoting from.

The religious teachers in the days of Jesus said that he had a devil and his followers were a cult this was also independently verifiable in the days of Jesus and the Apostles. Just ask the Jews who hung Jesus on the cross (John 7:20; John 8:48; 52; Matt 10:25 12:24; Acts 28:22).

This could be said of all those who followed Jesus throughout time even before Jesus the religious teachers of the day killed the prophets sent to them by God to share God's WORD (Luke 11:47; Matt 23:31)

Stephen was stoned to death it was independently verified that he was blaspheming because no one could argue with the scriptures that he was presenting (Acts 6:8-15).

Paul, Peter and most of the Apostles were also executed because it was independently verified by the religious teachers of the day that they could not respond to God's WORD they were sharing with them.

Not to mention all those of the reformation and the birth of Protestantism and the inquisition of the Roman Catholic Church which executed millions of God's people because it was independently verified by the Roman Catholic Church that they were all heretics and should be burned at the stake.

Now today you call heretic or cult because it is independently verified because you cannot respond to the scriptures that disagree with your Catholic traditions which has led many to break God's Commandments?

ONLY God's WORD is true and you do not have it to support your tradition that breaks the commandments of God. The WORD of God is sent to help you have a closer walk with God but you reject God's WORD in order to follow the traditions of the fathers.

Receive Gods Word and be blessed.

Hmm what is it that you claim I have twisted in the post you are quoting from that says..
If you can't prove your claims from the scriptures why are you making things up that are not true?

Ignoring God's WORD brother does not make it dissappear.

This is a parable what do you think it means and how does it relate to the OP and the scriptures provided here that show why you are in error that you are unable to address?

Sadly Roby your post here has no truth in it and is only your words denying God's Word. This is simply being a distraction because you are unable to address the scriptures in the OP that disagree with you and show why you are in error following man made teachings that are not biblical. Please stay on topic and address the scriptures provided in the OP. If you cannot why not believe and follow God's Word? Only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it. If you cannot support your position from the scriptures your only building your house on sand and great will be the fall thereof.

Hi numbers, "CORRECT" there is no scripture in God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day. But sorry brother nope! The SABBATH was made for mankind *MARK 2:27-28 at the SEVENTH DAY of the "CREATION WEEK" when there were no JEWS and no ISREAL when mankind was in perfect harmony with God *GENESIS 2:1-3. Please see post # 68 linked for more scripture.

Indeed we are not saved by the law we are saved by Grace *EPHESIANS 2:8-9. OBEDIENCE to God's Law is not how we are saved it is the FRUIT of God's work in us as we BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD by faith. Those who continue in known unrepentant sin however do not know God and need to be Born again into the NEW COVENANT promise to love *HEBREWS 8:10-12; ROMANS 13:8-10; JOHN 3:3-8; 1 JOHN 3:3-10.

Nothing to do with God's 4th commandment Sabbath and never has been.

No, what I'm disputong is your cult's (and your) private interps of certain Scripture4s, & your ignoring of "inconvenient" Scriptures. For instance you ignore this one, besides the four verses I posted earlier:

Romans 14:5 One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.

I'm convinced in my own mind that God doesn't reqiuire me to observe a Saturday Sabbath, any more than I hafta observe passover. You may believe as you wish, but I want nothing to do with your goofy cult except to present the truth from Scripture to individuals within it who may be ready to leave it.

My mind is convinced by Scripture, which I posted; yours is convinced by Mrs. White's garbage, which misinterprets some Scripture, while ignoring "inconvenient" passages..

Hmm more name calling brother. I guess this is because you cannot argue against the scriptures that disagree with you. You quote ROMANS 14:5, can yor please show that ROMANS 14:5 is in reference to God's 4th Commandment Sabbath? If you cannot why do you pretend that it is? In fact ROMANS 14:5 is in reference to eating and drinking, and fasting in connection to days that men esteem over other days. It is not a reference to God's 4th commandments Sabbath and never has been. The things that men esteem are an abomination to God.

Now please show us where in any of these scriptures God's WORD is talking about God's 4th Commandment. Your trying your best to read into the scriptures something that they are not talking about. The CONTEXT that you leave out of v5 and v6 read this way.

    ROMANS 14:1-22

[1], Him that is weak in the faith receive you, but not to doubtful disputations.

[2], For one believes that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eats herbs.

[3], Let not him that eats despise him that eats not; and let not him which eats not judge him that eats: for God has received him.

[4], Who are you that judge another man's servant? to his own master he stands or falls. Yes, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand.

[5], One man esteems one day above another: another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

[6], He that regards the day, regards it to the Lord; and he that regards not the day, to the Lord he does not regard it. He that eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he that eats not, to the Lord he eats not, and gives God thanks.

[7], For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself.

[8], For whether we live, we live to the Lord; and whether we die, we die to the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

[9], For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

[10], But why do you judge your brother? or why do you set at nothing your brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

[11], For it is written, As I live, said the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

[12], So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

[13], Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

[14], I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteems any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

[15], But if your brother be grieved with your meat, now walk you not charitably. Destroy not him with your meat, for whom Christ died.

[16], Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

[17], For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

[19], Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things with which one may edify another.

[20], For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eats with offense.

[21], It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak.

[22], Have you faith? have it to yourself before God. Happy is he that comdemns not himself in that thing which he allows.

[23], And he that doubts is damned if he eat, because he eats not of faith: for whatever is not of faith is sin.

ROMANS 14 is talking about eating and not eating connected to days that men esteem over other days, not what days God esteems. The things that men esteem are an abomination in God's eyes.

LUKE 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God

There is no mention in all of ROMANS 14 of God's 4th commandment of any of God's 10 commandments. Your reading into the scriptures something it is not talking about.

Receive Gods Word and be blessed. Name calling does not make God's Word dissappear.

SOME POINTS TO CONSIDER IN ROMANS 14:1-23

[1] the days spoken of are associated with eating/drinking, not eating/not drinking.

[2] the matter is over those 'weak' and 'strong' in faith concerning eating/drinking and days to do and not do those things on

[3] the context deals with "One man esteemeth", and not what God esteems (Isaiah 56:1-8, 58:13; Psalms 89:34) as permanent and so, and God's word is clear about what men esteem:

Luk_16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

The Jews continually argued over which were better days to do this thing or that thing, like fasting, feasting, etc: [Matthew 9:14; Mark 2:18; Luke 5:33, 18:12 KJB]

[4] the words for sabbath is not present in all of Romans 14, neither in all of Romans

[5] the words of the seventh day is not present in all of Romans 14, neither in all of Romans

[6] the words for the Lord's day is not present in all of Romans 14, neither in all of Romans

[7] Romans 14 is in the context of Romans 13, which directly cites the latter (2nd) table of the Ten Commandments, for love to neighbour, which is also found in Leviticus 19:17-18, in the context of sin and the Ten Commandments

[8] Romans 15 is the other end, and when combined with 1 Corinthians 8-10, the context is clear that the sabbath of the LORD thy God (Exodus 20:8-11) is not in view in the least, and is sustained by the rest of Paul in Romans by his statements on the eternal spiritual, holy, just and good Law (Exodus 20:1-17) of God, which identifies what sin is (Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4)

[9] the entire context of Romans 14 is to do nothing (even if allowed normally, yet not under special circumstances) to cause others to sin:

Rom 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

[10] Paul never contradicts himself, and Paul's writings are scripture (2 Peter 3:16), and scripture cannot be broken, John 10:35) and does not teach transgression of God's Law (Exodus 20:1-17) at any point:

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Rom_6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Rom_7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

[11] the words for "law", "commandments" are never used in Romans 14

[12] Paul in numerous places lists and upholds every single one of the Ten Commandments in the NT, including the 4th Commandment (Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11) in Hebrews 3-4, etc.

[13] Romans 14 is about excluding those things which were "doubful disputations", and not a single one of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) were ever doubtful or to be disputed in any place in all of scripture (KJB), for the Commandment of God are "sure" (Psalms 111:7).

[14] the words for "covenant/testament" are never used in Romans 14

[15] the words for 'first [day] of the week' are never used in Romans 14, neither in all of Romans

[16] none of the 'Sunday' (first [day] of the week) churches use Romans 14 to teach that I may ignore the day they gather on, even though that day is not sanctified by God in any way what so ever in scripture (KJB), and is never called "the Lord's day" in scripture, neither is it "the seventh day the sabbath of the LORD thy God".

[17] nobody uses Romans 14 to teach I can simply stop eating/drinking on every day

[18] anyone who quotes Romans 14, has in mind 'restrictions', rather than allowances

CONCLUSION: Nothing about God's 4th commandment in there at all. The scriptures are talking about food connected to days (eating and not eating (fasting) on days men esteem over other days. Not what days God esteems and judging others.

The things that men esteem are an abomination in God's eyes.

LUKE 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God

There is no mention in all of ROMANS 14 of God's 4th commandment or any of God's 10 commandments. Your reading into the scriptures something it is not talking about.

Receive Gods' Word and be blessed

Your name calling and false allegations are simply sad for you when only God's Word is presented to you in love that show why you are in error and here you still are not able to address the scriptures in the OP that show why you are in error? Does this now concern you brother? It should. Anyhow we may have to agree to disagree. It is clear you do not want to discuss the scriptures which show why you are in error. You are free to believe what you wil as we all answer only to God come judgment day. How sad it will be for those who had the chance to hear God's WORD but choose to turn their back to God's Word only to find out when it is too late that then did not know the day of their visitation.

My only prayer is that you may receive God's WORD and be blessed. Ignoring God's Word and name calling does not make God's Word dissappear.

    Quit prevaricating!

You're posting your cult's(and your) false interps of certain Scriptures, such as Col. 2:16.

Paul said "Sabbaths", he meant Sabbaths, PERIOD. You cannot make anything else out of it, truthfully.

And, of course, you completely ignored Romans 14:5.

You simply believe anything that quack Mrs. White wrote. You place her writing above Scripture. Proof - Your private interps are found in her garbage.

No need to be angry Roby. You either have God's Word for your tradition or you do not. Be honest you do not. Only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it. Ignoring God's Word does not make it dissappear but will come back to bare witness against us come judgment day *JOHN 12:47-48.
