Good Morning Everyone! Hubby has been online a bit this morning so I only had a few minutes to check in earlier! Hope everyone is well today and WARM!

Granny, growing up in Mobile, I remember the Camilla's blooming in the winter too. Of course, winter there is like late spring for our northern friends! I remember one Christmas I was in shorts as a little girl!

We have visitation tonight at church. I hope the weather holds for us. We had the thread of freezing rain last night. Also, poor Gib! His area is caught between hot and cold winds and about 90,000 are without electric down there! He also had a torndao watch yesterday.

Off to check the board. OH! I received 8 of the new Doom Viruses last night and one of the Hi My Dear Nancy worms. The Doom Virus comes in a zip file so BEWARE!

Good afternoon to everyone, back a little early. Ran out of trainees (pc for students) because so many got sent home early for misbehaviour :( .

Oh well, gonna see what you all have been UP to since I left this morning:).

Boy Howdy from WINDY Wyoming. But of course you've all learned the meteorlogical lessons by now that wind here is our friend. Temps at +20F and rising quickly. Wind is 28mph (that's 340 Canadian:)) and gusts much higher.

Watching the weather channel (I'm old and that's what we do for fun) and wow there is an evil Low Pressure spinning out of control in the midwest and heading east. Ugh.

Sticking by the stove in the Coffee House sounds like a good plan.

Well somehow MSN took over our computer and put itself in place of Outlook Express and Internet Explorer! That was weird. We had some fixing to do this morning! Couldn't even check emails for a while!

That terrible wind and cold is to move in by tonight here! Down in the 20's again with wind chills in the teens or single digits in some places.

Okay Guys! Jim got a call back before 9 this a.m. The job interview from yesterday.... the owner wants to meet him today but the headhunter thinks Jim will get the job. He was there with the owner when he called and they were going over the marketing plan. The headhunter gets paid by the company and he was telling Jim what the owner had in mind as a salary and perks and not to ask for less! In fact, he told Jim to not mention the money but let them offer but be prepared to counter offer for more. We'll see! Jim wants to WORK!

The interview is at 2:00 our time and the company is only 36 miles from our house. Jim's already left. He doesn't want anything to go wrong! LOL

Afternoon friends, we finished schooling and are now watching Discovery Kids. I always try to watch with Nick because they'll sneak in evolution. I want to be there to tell him what the Bible has to say about certain remarks. Yesterday we dissected Frogs and Rats online.

It's so sunny here that I can't believe it's this cold! Jon and his friend have gone over to Helen, Georgia to walk around and sight see. I think they'll be very glad they took warm layers. Allison is from Connecticut so she's quite used to the cold tho. She leaves early tomorrow morning. It's been a very nice visit. She's a Catholic girl and has absolutely no understanding of us Baptists. LOL

I go early in the morning for a teeth cleaning and check up. I sure pray I don't have any new cavities! Seems like I've lived at the dentists now for about 1 1/2 years. I'm ready for this to level out!
Remember, if all you can do is complain and whine, you really don't have anything worth saying!

Saw your post come up Diane and was hoping for a Jim job update ;) .

I guess its too early for news?

Hey Roger, no news yet. Jim had said the head hunter told him 'they're ready to move with this' and that he would start immediately if he is hired. I know Jim well enough to know that he's making sure they understand how he works and is finding out what how they do what they do..., etc. It's a completely different line than he's ever sold. I'll sure let you know the minute he calls! If not this one, the interview that had to be cancelled because of bad weather is set for tomorrow. It's selling Jim's 'hobby' (Stereo, Turntables, wide screens, etc.) but Jim sees that as a volatile market and when the economy suffers, sales suffer. He'd prefer being in a job where your product remains necessary.

    Hi all!

I have been busy trying to keep the front walk clean. It needs shoveled again! I also have to scrape the ice off of the car...again!

I will stop in when I get back from the corner. Wind chill is 0º!!!! All the schools in the area have already closed early, but not the one I work....never!

    TTFN!

    Hi Sure- be careful!

Gonna run for a while Diane, will check in b4 I go to bed about 5.00 your time - still praying!

Well Jim just called. He said it was a very good interview and they are looking for someone who has been a National salesmanager, etc. and someone who has all his experience. He actually met with the President but there is an owner or co-owner. That man will interview him next. He felt REALLY good about the interview but will still go to the interview tomorrow in Raleigh unless he hears something tonight. That job is pretty much guaranteed and he HAS to work. We've only had a very tiny (part time) income for a long time now and are completely out of money.

Thank you all for your prayers! Jim cried this morning when I told him that you were praying and how some of the men said they certainly understood how he feels in his heart. You are such wonderful friends!

    Back from the corner........frozen!

I need to go fix supper. We are eating early because hubby had to fast all day to have lab work done after he got off work and I know he will be starving.

I will be back after I get him fed!

    NIght Roger. Pleasant dreams.

I got hubby fed. He was starving. All he could have since last night was water and ONE cup of coffee! I had a cup waiting for him when he walked through the door!

Where is everyone? Must be eating supper or gone to bed for the night.
