Boy Howdy, all and blessed Monday morning. A little cloudy this morning and only 33F, but the sun will come out by noon and temps will climb.
Remember, "the skies are not cloudy all day" here like they are when the low pressures sets in back in the East.

"Sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite..."
That saying comes from early England in the prisons, where beds had rope tied across the frame to support the mattress. If the ropes were not drawn tight before going to sleep, it would be rather precarious sleeping, and one would fall closer to the damp floor where the bedbugs were.
Cheers,
Jim -
Thanks Jim - for that interesting bit of trivia!
-
Jim is cool!!! He can always come up with where something originated!! (And usually, everything traces back somewhere to England!!)
Am off today and getting TONS done! Went to Lifeway for a couple of books for my brother for his birthday...both were on sale..and one was marked down to practically nothing! Yea!
Am getting ready to go to the store and post office, then back home to work on my closets. Yuk. :(
Later...CJ -
Ugly critters aren't they?
There are several species of bed bugs, all of which are parasites of warm-blooded animals. The common bed bug, whose preferred host is humans, is rarely encountered, presumably because of improvements in sanitation. Related species, such as the bat bug and bird bug, prefer to feed on bats, birds, and other wild hosts, but will also feed on humans if the opportunity arises or the preferred host dies or leaves the roost.

I'm more concerned with these creatures who are already making a comeback this year and it is impossible to get rid of them!!!
-
Sue thats probablly what I was reading about. They said in the article that sanitation has nothing to do with it and you cant get rid of them on your own. Some lady had months of trying to get rid of them before it worked. Thanks, but no thanks. ;)
Liz -
Remember now folks - the Good Lord made those little critters for a reason!
Who are we to say that they don't have the right to live where they want to! -
How many little creatures live in your eyelashes? You really don't want to know.
-
Thought a couple others pix of the critters that live on your eyelashes would make for good lunch-time conversation. -
Hey, that one is the same color as my grapefruit. I wonder if it gushes the same when you bite down on it. Squirt!
-
Well, as you are not vegetarian you probably won't mind finding out
-
Alright, this is gorss. Time for a change of subject, after all this IS a Coffee House ;)
-
Okay!!! Okay!!! Crying UNCLE here!!!!!! (Amidst laughing so hard I'm crying!!!)
Next time I even BOTHER to say goodnight to everyone here, I'll just learn from Sue and say, "Pleasant dreams"!! :D
CJ -
LOL!!!!! Looks like we all descended here at the same time!! :D
-
Gib, the one you say is the same colour as your grapefruit...Rob says he used to teach someone who looked like that...
-
Great pictures Doc - did you take them?
-
Sheila-Did he learn anything?
-
You people are really crazy - did you know that?
-
Does a crazy person really know they are crazy? Just how sane would that make them? Perhaps we are all crazy.
Cheers,
Jim, maybe crackers, but not crazy -
My eyes are being opened to what goes on in here while a lot of us are working during the day!! Just simply incredible!!
