My conclusions were derived from here:

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If you don't believe the above verse, then you have some serious problems that you need to tend to immediately. Please seek the Lord.

You said not to talk about this here, so why do you not take it to the other thread?

Oh, I do not have to want them to say anything. They say it, and you and DHK are wrong.

Where does the Bible use the term "archbishop"?

Where does it say "Reverend"? I know lots of Baptist preachers who don't mind people calling them that.

I'd rather be called archbishop than Reverend. In fact, I will not not accept being called that.

Archbishop is a title of hierarchy suggesting similarity with the RCC.
    Archbishop---Bishop---priest---brother---laity.
You have your hierarchy; just like the RCC. You are no different.

No different than the RCC? That's laughable.

A bishop in the Celtic tradition was not a hierarchical position, and neither is it with us. An ancient Celtic bishop was a relational position -- like the head of a rural clan or family of people.

With us, a bishop is a pastor to pastors, and an archbishop is a pastor to other bishops. It is a way of supporting each other. With each step, more servanthood is required.

Mennonites have a threefold ministry, but not like the Catholics do.

Just some perspective for your consideration.

I repudiate the RCC hierarchy and its system of earthly lords.

He said himself he was ordained a catholic archbishop.

Obviously, the anabaptist title is just a smokescreen.

If you ask TS, this is exactly what he would say:
How can you say you are different?

    Where did I say that?

The person who ordained me was himself ordained in an independent Old Catholic church. But he left it up to me to form the CAC in the manner God led me, and I did. I wanted to conjoin the Baptist/Anabaptist tradition with the ancient Celtic tradition, the two of which have many things in common.

The office does not function the same way with us. Our local congregations are autonomous. We do not rule from the top down.

    On your website...

"My name is Michael Wrenn; I am the founder and presiding minister of this church fellowship. I was ordained as a pastor and also consecrated as a bishop by Archbishop Rodney P. Rickard of the Primitive Catholic Church, through whom I was also appointed archbishop."

Obviously, the anabaptist title and the claim to be a Baptist is nothing more than a smokescreen.

Obviously since we affirm Baptist/Anabaptist principles and practice these, you are a liar.

Your beliefs are Anglican/Methodist, not Baptist. How can you say you are Baptist? If you are honest with yourself you cannot. Anabaptists of today are not Baptists.

I am not Anglican or Methodist. I have been a member of both, but I left those and went back to the Baptist church because I could not believe like the Anglicans or Methodists. The denomination that I feel is closest to my beliefs is the General Baptists, but the closest church is 80 miles from here.

He was appointed archbishop by a catholic bishop.

    He is catholic.

The claim of being Baptist is nothing more than a smokescreen. Catholic bishops don't ordain or appoint Baptists

So, no Baptists believe the Christus Victor view of the atonement? Maybe none you know.

It is the RCC and Anglican churches that have "secondary" authorities other than the Bible.
As Baptists we believe in sola scriptural. The Bible is our sole authority.
But you deviate from this position, and you deviate from it a lot!!

    Nothing Baptist about this.

Rodney is Celtic in theology and practice. He came from a background of Catholic and Dutch reformed -- about as opposite beliefs as you can get.

You are a liar. Keep it up; you want to talk about smoke? Those coals on your head are going to create a lot of smoke for you one day.
