Oh, so Baptists can't have anything in common with other traditions.

You show me where Baptists don't use tradition, reason, or experience. No one, not even Baptists, interprets the Bible in a vacuum.

We compare Scripture with Scripture, not in a vacuum. As IFB, we are independent and do not have any traditions to rely on. Our particular church was started in the 70's. It has gone through some changes. It has no particular traditions that it holds to. Of course we are not liturgical. So really I have no idea what you are talking about.

 

Please close my thread.

I am curious how the archbishop is archbishop of CAC and a member of a Southern Baptist Church?

His beliefs do not even line up with Southern Baptist doctrines. What does he go to the SB Church for? to sleep during sermons?

I am not offended by the truth, I embrace it. What offends me is your claim that one can be saved without hearing the Gospel or even knowing Jesus Christ. Such a claim is contrary to the Word of God.

If one can be saved apart from knowing Jesus Christ or without hearing the Gospel, then the Lord Jesus Christ died in vain. His death really didn't accomplish anything.

Your doctrine is a doctrine of devils and does nothing but train spiritual thieves and robbers.

Actually, one only need read through this thread to see it was you who attacked first by accusing me of lying and having a low self esteem.

But if it makes you feel good to think you are saved above all others and without lies, have at it.

It is obvious that when one points out the false doctrines you teach you get all huffy and attack them with, as Dr Bob put it, insults and innuendo. And then you accuse them of something you initiated.
